In contemporary society , many young people enjoy taking big , but they always can’t finish anything . Because details decide success or failure . If we don’t start from the minor matters , only do the big things , we may get nothing in the end . So do the small things first , and then , we can finish something perfectly without wasting our unnecessary energy .
As far as I’m concerned , doing small things first is very important . 清晨 ，天渐渐破晓，淡青色的天空镶嵌着几颗残星，大地朦朦胧胧的，如同笼罩着银灰色的轻纱，一切是那么的恬静、美好。突然，一阵“刷-刷”的扫地声打破了宁静，节奏舒缓而又欢快，若隐若现，是谁让每一寸土地如此干净，是谁让每一天如此美丽，是你们-辛勤劳动的城市美容师。
城市美容师张爷爷负责泰安路的清扫工作。泰安路是居民聚集区，且地下水沟排水不畅，环卫工作的难度特别大。每逢大雨天，垃圾和积水就会大量涌出街道，变成一片狼藉，如不及时清理，就会给人们出行带来不便。几年来，张爷爷几乎每天五点准时起床，然后带工具来到清扫现场，不论冰天雪地、寒风刺骨;还是烈日炎炎、刮风下雨;哪里有垃圾，哪里就有他的身影，只要一下雨，张爷爷更是在家呆不住，不等雨停，他就披上雨衣出门，当看到下水道堵塞时，他就跳进泥水里，用手摸索着清理垃圾，他的手被玻璃划伤了，雨水湿透了衣服，但他全然不顾，直到清理干净时，才拖着疲惫的身子离开……
这就是环卫工人，一个平凡而又崇高的职业。虽然这个崇高的职业每天都得面对肮脏，但是，他们是为了让我们有一个美丽舒适的环境，才奉献出这一切。他们日复一日，年复一年，在那不起眼的岗位上，默默奉献着。
他们是平凡而普通的，他们没有创造出惊天动地的伟业，但是我们要记住：他们爱岗敬业，默默奉献，城市因他们存在而美丽。
