Dear Family,
You must be greatly surprised when you get this letter, not from anyone else but from your dearest son, since I have never written a letter for ages in such a traditional way. The purpose of my writing is not so much to express my gratitude for bringing me up, as it is to tell you something about my college life.
It has been more than two years since I started my college life and I have adapted myself to the new environment here, even though at the very beginning, I was not quite used to it. My classmates are pretty friendly and they offer to help me whenever need be, which is really precious for me. My teachers tell me the differences between college life and high school life and give me some necessary advice on how to learn in college. Because of their kind-hearted help, I learn to know the importance of cooperation and communications between each other, especially when in Group work.
In the past several months, I have been busy preparing for TEM 4.Therefore, most of the time, I stayed at school and seldom kept in touch with you; I should have been ashamed of this. But now it is completely finished, and I will never do that again. In my spare time, I usually go to play basketball to keep fit since you always ask me to practice more to keep healthy. What is more, I like to go to the English Corner to practice my spoken English in order to improve my oral English level, which is of importance as English major.
Finally, I would like to specially thank you for providing me the best education and experience. Without your support and understanding, it wouldn't be the same. In regard to the future, I will make every effort to study for my degree and make the dreams I had envisioned come true.

周末，一家人去海边游玩。
当我们坐车到达海边时，夕阳正好落在海平面上，远远望去像一个巨大的火球，将大海染成了绚丽的金黄色。远处海面上，一艘艘归航下锚的渔船随着海浪的起伏轻轻摇晃，海水轻轻地拍打着船舷。
沙滩上，游玩的人们开心地在沙滩上奔跑着，到处是欢快的笑声。我看了兴奋不已，急忙脱下鞋子，冲向沙滩。细软的沙子挤进了我的脚趾缝里，痒痒的，真舒服！
爸爸看我玩得入迷，就说：“儿子，我们下海游泳吧，让你尝尝大海的味道。”
我二话没说，急忙换上泳衣，不顾身后爸爸紧张的叮嘱，三步并做两步，就冲向了大海。正当我想施展 “三脚猫”的游泳技术时，一个大浪突然打来，猝不及防，我的嘴里充满了苦涩的海水。我不服气地再次迎向海浪，可是仍被无情地冲回到沙滩上，好不狼狈。
我纳闷地问爸爸：“为什么在大海里游泳和在泳池里游泳，有那么大的差别？”
爸爸说：“这就是大海。时而温顺，时而凶猛。一不小心，就能让你灌满苦涩的海水。想在大海里自如的游泳，就要有过硬的本领，冷静的头脑，更要有坚强的意志！在大海里游泳，更多地是对自我的挑战。”
我听了之后，似懂非懂地点了点头。
时间过得飞快，天色渐晚，我们也要回家了。看着夜幕下宁静的大海，我暗下决心：我一定要在大海里自如的游泳，成为一名勇敢的弄潮儿！

暑假里，我和爸爸妈妈乘着大巴去青岛海边玩。现在回想起来还是很开心，心里甜滋滋的！我和爸爸妈妈买了许多游泳用的东西，向着大海前进。坐了差不多10个小时的车，我们来到大海边。那里水天一色，美丽极了！我张开双臂，啊，真凉快呀！真想住在海边。玩了一会儿，我的小肚子“咕噜咕噜”的叫了起来，原来是饿了。于是，我光着脚Y跑到大海里捉鱼，可是我东抓抓，西摸摸，什么也没捉到。就在这时，我低下头一看，一群鱼在我眼皮子底下游来游去，好像在说:"你可真笨,连条鱼都抓不到，更何况还在你脚下，你是永远都抓不到鱼喽！”见此情景，我心想:你这调皮的鱼，我一定要抓到你，让你们刮目相看。我先把一群鱼逼进一个死角，然后乘鱼不注意，手一抓，呀哎妈呀，终于抓到你这调皮的小东西了！我把烧烤台撑起来，把鱼放在上面烤，没过多久，就有一股香味飘过来，真香啊！我迫不及待的想尝一口，但是很烫，所以，我只能坐在一旁静静地看着鱼，闻着香味儿!
到了下午，我看见一个小男孩坐在地上堆沙堡，就学起了他。不一会儿，我就堆成了一个惟妙惟肖的沙堡了，我手舞足蹈。这时有一个沙滩球向我袭来，我机智的一躲，却踩到了木桶，摔得头朝地，脚朝天，沙堡也被压扁了。原来是爸爸，他在和别人打球呢!而妈妈正坐在那里，听着歌，喝着果汁，手里还织着毛衣，真悠闲自在啊!
到了下午4点多，我们坐着大巴回家。
这次旅行真令我难忘呀！

今年暑假，我和妈妈去青岛旅行，既然到了青岛，那海边是一定要去的。这不，我们已来到了海滨浴场，正准备与大海握手呢!
看，无边无际的大海就横在眼前，蓝色的海面上盛开着朵朵雪白的浪花。迎面吹来的海风是那样的凉爽，用力嗅嗅，咸咸的，还透着股海腥味儿，夹带着海的气息。
我和妈妈脱了鞋子，脚踩上了白色的沙滩，沙子又细又滑，软软地暖暖地搔着我的脚丫，真是舒服。我弯腰抓了一把沙子，它却像小鱼儿一样狡猾，不一会儿便从我的手指缝里溜走了。我和妈妈在浅水区戏水、拾贝壳，玩得不亦乐乎。
突然听见有人在喊：“退潮了，退潮了。”抬起头来，果然，亮白色的浪花越拍越远，不远处呈现出大片大片的沙滩，人们欢呼着。我拽着妈妈，也加入了这一寻宝的队伍中。
我们在沙滩上仔细搜寻，发现刚退了潮的沙滩上有许多小洞，上面还冒着小泡泡，这里面一定有秘密。于是，我蹲下身去，用手轻轻一挖，里面竟藏着小螃蟹。那小螃蟹的颜色跟沙滩的颜色差不多，而且斑斑点点的，不在意真以为它是一块沙，好会伪装的小家伙。妈妈提议，来个抓螃蟹比赛。多棒的主意，我们俩用手在沙子里左扒扒，右挖挖，不一会儿，小桶里已是沉甸甸的了。
夕阳的余晖洒落在海面上，金光闪闪。那气势磅礴的大海变得含情脉脉，我和妈妈满载而归，心中充满着收获的喜悦!大海，谢谢你给我们带来的无穷的`快乐!

There is a small crab hiding in the shell, mom told me to call the hermit crab. My mother taught me to catch crabs, I was afraid of, then can also be quickly caught, see small crabsswim really happy in my bucket, I will bring them home, so every day tosee them.
The beach is really very interesting, I really want to leave it.
