我读过很多书有童话，寓言或名着，但我最喜欢的一本书是一本名着，书名叫《礼物》。
这本书是美国著名作家斯宾塞·约翰逊的作品。这本书主要讲一个青年在事业上遇到了困难。于是他向他最友好的朋友——老人求助，老人告诉他：是因为你没有找到生活中的礼物，只要找到这个礼物，就可以生活得快乐。于是这个年轻人努力的找老人说的礼物，可是他一直找不到老人说的礼物，就十分烦闷。工作一落千丈。他又去找老人，老人就开导他，其实寻找这个礼物很简单，有时他就在你是边，只是你没有发现他，青年人好像明白老人的意思，又去找生活中的礼物。他终于找到了这个礼物，他也明白礼物是什么，他找到老人把这个消息告诉老人，同时也感谢老人对他的帮助。老人也很高兴，就奖励给他一座房子，年轻人还不知道这个老人就是能实现愿望的愿望老人。
读完这本书，让我明白，生活中的礼物就是生活中的乐趣，享受生活中的乐趣，使自己快乐的把精力投入到生活中去!

祥子一生几起几落最终沉沦，这个故事反应了半殖民地半封建的中国社会里层任命的悲苦命运，也证明了生活在那个时候的来动人们要想只是通过自己的劳动来换取成果是不可能的。
一个人要是堕落了，那还能做什么呢?我推荐着本书就是因为它让我明白，每一个人都应带有目标，有理想，更要为这目标和理想而努力，但是当我们遇到挫折时也不要放弃，更不能堕落，是是应该坚强。而且我觉得这本书揭露了旧社会的腐败，我像大家看了一定会动的如何坚强，如何珍惜眼前的生活

Dear Mrs.Sharp and all my teachers and friends,
I have already been back to China for two weeks. Now I'm working hard to catch up my classmates in Math and Chinese. There are many difference between my Chinese school and Sul Ross Elementary. I just needed 15 to 20 minutes to finish my homework in USA, but in China I need at least 1 to 2 hours to finish my homework.
I really miss America because USA has fresh air and lots of green trees. I turely love all of my teachers and my classmates in Sul Ross. I can always remember the first time when I won our spelling bee for I jumped out of my chair. I will never forget I played tag at the playground with my friends. I also miss my drum group and Mrs.Wright. There were many happiness and surprises in Sul Ross school for me everyday. I miss you Mrs Sharp and classmates, Mrs. Sims, Ms.Strunk, Miss Cox, Ms.Jacks and Mrs. V. Everyone is being so nice to me.
I will keep learning English by reading more books, listening stories and writing. I hope one day I can go to USA and see you again!

这本书，大多数是每一个小女孩都在童年做过的公主梦，就是让我们进入公主的世界，在自己梦幻的世界中“尽情的`飞翔”。在童话的这个世界里，我非常享受，经常把自己想象成故事里的人物。里面有很多我很羡慕的东西。有漂亮的公主裙，有景色宜人的场地，还有许多我意想不到的美好事情。但也有一部份是公主受尽委屈,受尽折磨的辛苦经历。那些痛苦的点点滴滴让我明白了很多道理。
像“命运的天平”这个故事。故事中的主人公是小公主，她是国王的三女儿，但是她和两个姐姐的经历大不相同，有一段曲折的命运。她的命运曾经让她给很多的人带来厄运：她让纺纱的女工的纺纱机坏了，纺好的纱也被剪成了碎片、让面包师的面包和所有的原料都散落在地上……可是这些挫折，不足以让小公主灰心，因为有裁缝“莎朗”的鼓励和面对小公主的命运的好办法。小公主的勇气让她的命运改邪归正，命运还送给小公主一个珍珠，这让小公主高兴万分。这个故事给我的感想是：小公主凭借着自己的勇敢、执着和善良战胜了命运。同学们，我们也一定不要向厄运屈服，因为自己的命运要靠自己去掌握。让我明白的道理是：做事情只要坚持，有勇气就可能成功。
通过以往的阅读，我发现读书可以使我们增长见识，不出门便可知天下事。也可以提高我们的阅读能力和写作水平。
