秋姑娘来到田野，把颜料盒里的颜料一泼，田野里顿时发生了翻天覆地的变化。还没有成熟的红高粱瞬间变成了一片“火海”，刚刚还开得稀稀落落的棉花一眨眼间成群结队地开放了，稻田在一刹那间掀起了金色的波浪……
秋姑娘一边象想着农民丰收时喜悦的画面，一边来到了果园。只见她轻描淡抹，果园里渐渐发生了变化，苹果露出红红的\'脸蛋，像是一张张小朋友的笑脸；黄澄澄的梨子像一个个挂在树上的灯泡，压弯了梨枝；紫宝石般的葡萄闪烁着光泽；火红的柿子你挤我碰，争着邀请人们去采摘。看呀，采果实的姑娘排着队，提着竹篮，开心地来摘果子啦！

秋姑娘心满意足地来到森林，画笔重重一点，森林瞬息变得叠翠流金。瞧，枫树披上了耀眼的红衣；银杏树上悬着一把把黄色的小扇子；松柏却依旧苍翠，昂首挺胸地屹立着眺望远方。
秋姑娘迈着轻盈的步伐来到湖泊：她调皮地鼓起腮帮子，轻轻一吹，湖水泛起了涟漪；岸旁一片白茫茫的芦苇扭动着腰肢，跳起了优美的华尔兹；小鱼和小虾躲到石缝里探头探脑地张望……
秋姑娘最后来到了城市，她拿出橡皮轻轻一擦，行道树上茂密的树叶一霎那全部销声匿迹。人们换上厚厚的秋衣，仰望天空中排队向南方迁徙的大雁。
秋姑娘看着自己的劳动成果，心中完全被快乐占据了。不知不觉地，秋姑娘挂着甜甜的微笑，疲倦地睡着了。
