苹果圆圆的，和桃子一样大小。它很爱打扮，苹果先是淡绿色的，成熟后它就把那绿色的外衣换成了红色，一个个红色的苹果挂在树上，就像一个红色的灯笼，在太阳的照耀下显得更漂亮了。看了迫不及待地就想摘一个尝尝。
没有熟透的苹果是青色的，吃起来有点酸，熟透的苹果红彤彤的，吃起来又甜又脆。你轻轻地咬开它，黄白色的果肉立刻浮现在你眼前，顿时就会让你垂涎三尺。

我的家乡在南阳，这里资源丰富，有名的特产很多，有南阳黄牛、西峡猕猴桃、独山玉。我最喜欢的是独山玉。
独山玉产于南阳北郊，作品有神话，传奇小说中人物、花草等。因这玉晶莹易透、玲珑别致，被称为南阳翡翠。
独山玉色彩丰富。有绿、白、黄、紫、黑等数十种，有玻璃光泽，当然还有三十多种过度色等，无论什么色，人们都喜欢。嫩绿色鲜润悦目，黑绿色像湖水映柳叶沉静、白的像一个个仙女纯洁美好，青白色像流星从天上落下来。
独山玉质地细腻，有的光滑清凉、有的温润如脂、有的闪着绿盈盈玻光，还有俏丽的黄，你仔细看，那纹理似烟、似云、似花、似雾。令人百看不厌。独山玉便于雕刻，可以雕成人物、鸟兽、花草，民间传说，三国人物、建筑、饰品。在南阳春季就会举行玉雕节。会吸引人民和外国许多人前来奉谢，感谢中国人民作出的巨大贡献。

春天，粉红色的花瓣像一个个害羞的小姑娘，风吹动着这些花瓣，我仿佛听到了这些害羞的小姑娘正在嬉戏说笑呢!
到了夏天，就是农民伯伯最忙的时候了，他们要包桃子了，包好的桃子像一个个小饺子一样，等包好了之后，再过一个月，就可以卖桃子了，要知道在夏天卖桃子是非常累的，他们先要采摘，然后再装，农民伯伯的汗水就像断了线的珍珠往下落。
秋天，秋姑娘轻轻吹动着桃子叶，叶子就像一只只蝴蝶要落下来。
冬天，所在桃树上是叶子都掉的一干二净的，就像一个个和尚在地上躺着睡觉一样
