西边，一轮残阳从山的一角斜射过去，为大地铺上一层薄薄的红衣裳。冷瑟瑟的风不停地刮着，如刀割，又如鞭子子一样抽在脸上，十分疼痛。我孤独地走在异乡的小路上，眼睛已经睁不开了，非常疲惫不堪，真希望能找一间简陋的屋子住下，至少能抵御这刺骨的寒风，让我好好休息会儿。
当我走到沧桑的老树下时，一根枯藤缠着树干，老树的叶子全部掉光了，虽然它们以前是那么的粗壮美丽，可是现在只剩下几根脆弱的枯枝，在树的前方有一匹骨瘦如柴的老马，它也跟我差不多，疲惫不堪，马不停蹄发出悲伤的叫声，好像在召唤它迷路的主人又或是远方的马朋友。树上的天空一直飞翔着几只乌鸦，一边抖动它无力的翅膀，一边发出声声悲鸣，空旷的.天地显得更加孤寂。
黄昏来临，此时的我来到了一条小溪旁。溪水清澈见底的，溪里还有几条小鱼在嬉戏，时不时地拍打着鱼尾巴，非常自由，非常惬意。我此时喉咙非常干燥的，不得不喝那冰凉的溪水，我俯下身，把溪水轻轻地用手捧起喝下去，冰凉冰凉的。
到了晚上，炊烟袅袅，几户人家开始做晚饭的了，那香味已经远远地飘到我的鼻子里，我好似又想起家人团聚在一起，热热闹闹地围在饭桌前，有欢有笑地吃着晚饭。一声狗吠，把我从沉思中惊起。看看眼前的这一切，我感到异常无助，彷徨，只能独自去流浪啊流浪。突然，我心里猛地一震，我不能再这样消沉下去了，收拾好包袱行囊，向着夕阳落下的地方走去。
