“有志之人立长志，无志之人常立志。”“水滴石穿”和“绳锯木断”的典故告诉我们，任何缺乏长志的人，都不可能拥有真正意义上的成功，当然，也不配拥有这样的成功。
理想和目标这两个概念，不为大多数人所区分。每一滴水准时滴下来，并恰到好处地滴在准确的位置上，这便是一次目标的完成;而最后一滴滴下来，洞穿了坚石，这就是理想：在此，理想与目标重叠。
这个世界上从来都不缺乏立志之人，所缺乏的是一个有志向的人。
人生是架通过于与未来的桥梁。我们所迈出的每一步都踏在悬索之上：向前有风险，向后有风险，站着不动也有风险，怎么办?与其畏缩，不如狂妄地向前。只有不畏艰险，勇往直前的人，才能最终赢得人生的辉煌。“一旦下定决心，就必须坚持到底;再也没有‘假如’或‘但是’。”拿破仑如是说。
生活中，大部分人，他们只是习惯于立志，但却毫无志向。与其说他们缺乏志向，倒不如说他们是畏惧一个目标的枯燥，抑或一个理想的遥不可期。
对于扎克伯格辉煌的商业成功，很多人无法理解，他们认为是命运的垂青铸就了其辉煌的商业帝国。其实不然，扎克伯格敢于从哈佛大学辍学创业，就足见其是一个意志坚定、执着于目标和理想的人。他的成功，在一定程度上也证明了，理想并不是遥不可及的，在坚定、执着面前，它们都会近在眼前。“有多少看上去不可为之事，都被那些意志坚定地勇士们实现了。”拿破仑说，“意志、个性、认真、胆量成就了现在的我。”
获得一种荣誉并非空想，但缺乏意志的人，一定可以把任何目标和理想变成毫无意义的空想。
“有些人必生所追求的东西往往是另一些人与生就俱来的东西。而当人生将走到尽头时，也许必生追求的人得到了所渴望的，而与生俱来的人却失去了他们仅有的。”鲁迅如是说。缺乏目标和理想的人，他们并不能原地踏步，他们在失去他们与生俱来的。
不敢想象自己可以拥有一个远大的理想，以为自己的身份卑微，不配拥有这样一个远大的理想，这是世俗之人的庸俗之见。还记得“瑞恩的井”吗?瑞恩，一个八岁的小男孩，要为非洲打一口干净的饮用水井，多么不可思议?还记得西天取经的唐僧吗?一个名不见经卷的小和尚，在发下“西天取经”的十世宏愿时，唐王与之结拜为兄弟，观音赠送其紫金钵盂和锦斓袈裟，孙悟空、猪八戒、沙僧、白龙马一路护送其西行。
世之所缺者，非成功，乃一个伟大目标，抑或说理想而已。

我的期中生活总结作文【三】
这个快乐开心的暑假马上要过完了。我现在要总结一下我在假期里哪些是做得好的地方，哪些是不好的地方。首先，让我说一说我好的地方吧！一是我成为了一名小记者，还开了博客呢！现在已经有971人看我的博客了。我感到很光荣。二是我已经学会蛙泳了，而且，我的蛙泳腿的动作在全班还是最漂亮的呢！三是我上了写字班，字比原来进步了，写字本的字经常得5颗星。
刚开始，我写字只得了1星，后来，我增加到了3星，又增加到了4星半，再后来又增加到了5星半。我的字越写越好，老师也越来越喜欢我了。四是我钢琴弹得越来越好了，几乎每首曲子都能背出来了，第一本钢琴书已经全部学完了。老师非常开心，每天都会表扬我。五是我现在下棋，爸爸、妈妈、姐姐、奶奶、外婆、妹妹，都不是我的对手，我成了家里的“棋后”。下面，再让我说一说不足之处。
一是我垃圾食品吃得太多了，我每个星期都要吃一次方便面，一直持续了三个星期。我到舅妈家里还吃了两次肯德基呢。二是写日记没有每天坚持，要隔几天才写一篇日记。三是生活习惯不好，睡觉晚了点，起床也晚了点。明天，新学期就要开始了。我希望改正缺点，发扬优点，更上一层楼！
