一个春天的傍晚，爸爸送了我一件礼物，我打开一看，“只是个钉书机。”我不满地说。
爸爸故作神秘地说：“这可不是一台普通的钉书机，这可是一台万能打印机……”接下来就开始罗里吧嗦地介绍起功能来。还没等他的“演说”讲完，我就跑得不见踪影了。
第二天一早，感觉有些头昏脑涨，估计是昨天睡晚了。想想今天又要上学，真不想起床。“对了，老爸昨天吹嘘了半天，我倒要看看，这个万能打印机到底能打出什么东西来。”我从电脑上找了张前几天穿校服的照片，直接按了“打印”键。只听得打印机“吱嘎吱嘎”的响，先是出来一只手，然后出来一只脚，后来又出现半个头，几分钟的功夫，一个跟我一模一样的“活人”居然出现在我面前。
“妈呀！”我吓了一大跳。
“妈呀！”对方也吓了一大跳。
“你干嘛学我说话。”

看来这个“克隆我”不仅长相身材跟我一样，连说话口气也跟我一点不差。
“你听着，你是我创造出来的.，一切得听我的。但我也不会亏待你，只要你乖乖听我的话，这盒巧克力就都是你的。”
果然，在巧克力的诱惑下，这个“我”完全成了我的奴隶。本来我还想多啰嗦几句，比如我在什么学校，叫什么名字，有哪些同学和老师，结果她比我记得还清楚。话没说完，她就背着书包上学去了。
可到了下午放学，我只看见了书包，却没看见那个克隆的我。仔细研究了说明书，我才发现这个复制品只有八个小时的有效期。
不过也没关系，大不了明天再打一次吗！有了这么神奇的打印机，我当然不会亏待了自己。我用它打印了梦想中的城堡和成千上万的随从，当足了一天的“公主瘾”；又用它打印了偌大的游乐场和各种各样的玩具，痛痛快快地玩了一天。当然，我也拿它干了很多好事，比如让去世的家人和亲人再见上一面，让无名小岛和我们的祖国连在一起……
可不幸的是，万能打印机落入了坏人手里，他们打印了无数的坦克、舰艇和导弹来消灭地球，人类展开了有史以来最惨烈的世界大战。
叮叮叮、叮叮叮。呀！原来只是一场梦，差点吓死我了，世界又恢复了和平。
不好！上学又要迟到啦！

我很好奇，心想：没有电脑操控的打印机能打印出东西来吗？这时候，妈妈拿了两张纸过来，一张是白纸，一张是有字的纸。只见她首先把一个叫做“纸盒”的部位打开，接着将白纸平放进去，然后又将有字的`纸放在复印的部位。于是，妈妈有序地插上电源，并按下了“启动”按钮。没想到，先前纹丝不动的打印机真的“嗡嗡嗡”地响了，它一边响一边微微地抖动着。过了几秒钟，它又停下了。妈妈不慌不忙地从出纸口取出已经“变脸”了的白纸，又从复印部位取出根本不变样的那张纸。我发现，两张纸上的文字和图案竟然一模一样！
等妈妈走了，我才蹑手蹑脚地走近打印机仔细看了看，这台打印机是黑白相间的，它正面的黑色平板上写着白色的字，是“Brotner”。我问妈妈这些外文是什么意思，她说是“兄弟”的意思。因此我就猜测：这应该是“兄弟牌”的打印机。
此时此刻，一向喜欢追根究底的我观察得更细心了。看吧：“兄弟牌”打印机的尾巴是黑色的，它尾巴的顶端是圆形的，那里有三个亮闪闪的白铁竖在上面，它的“头顶”上并排着好几个按钮，有功能键，有清除键，有扫描键，还有……
