10月7日下午，外面下着大雨，我正在整理书包准备明天上学。爸爸突然打来电话，告诉我，学校发来短信通知，因受台风影响，明天停课一天。我情不自禁地欢呼起来，马上打开电视，看我最喜欢的动画片《熊出没》。其间播放广告，我在选台的时候，看到了新闻。台风“菲特”会带来的持续强降雨，宁波会造成的严重灾情。我马上和奶奶一起，把放在阳台上的花盆全部搬到屋里来，关好所有窗户。再和奶奶一起到超市买了好多种鱼和蔬菜，当然还有好多零食。
随着台风“菲特”带来的持续特大暴雨，造成积水严重，交通拥堵，我们全家休息二天，一起看新闻。这次的严重灾害已造成宁波11个县(市、区139个乡镇不同程度受灾，受灾人口达113万余人。余姚灾情成为宁波重中之重。截至8日晚，余姚全市21个乡镇、街道均受灾，145个行政村和社区被围，受灾人口83万人，房屋受损较严重的有25650间。城区大面积受淹，主城区城市交通瘫痪，城区全线停水、停电，商贸业损失严重，市民生活受到严重影响。但在大灾面前，全市市民展现了团结一致、众志成城抗洪救灾的壮举。全市市民无私提供抗洪救灾的各种物资。各新闻媒体还充分报道抗洪救灾中的感人事迹：把婴儿放在洗澡盆里，全家三口相互依偎，涉水搬家;把物资送到灾民手里，有的灾民却说我们还行，物资给更需要的人;有一个小孩实在太饿了，但看到面包没有马上吃而是先连声说谢谢……
第二天，刚好爸爸的朋友去余姚送食品和水，我就把零用钱拿出来，买了一些食品和水，交给我爸爸的朋友，他载着我们全家的爱心出发了。我看着远去的车影，思绪万千。

二零一零年七月十八日，一场洪水突袭了我们这个小城镇。
七月十六曰晚，老天爷像一头发怒的狮子，我们这个城镇顿时被倾盆而下的雨水包围。
七月十七日晨，洪水暴发了，虽还没溢上街道，值只有几步之遥了。这时的天空依旧下着雨，虽没七月十六日的雨气势磅礴，但不失壮观。人们惊奇的发现网络、通迅系统全部瘫痪;电力、水力统统中断;通往县城的公路早以不堪入目……人们的生活陷入窘况，这个城镇仿佛与世隔绝了。
七月十八日晨，正当人们在家谈笑风声时，乡政府发来通告：让人们做好防洪准备。人们收到通告时，立刻将贵重东西搬到水位高的地方去。街道上时不时传来吆喊声，洪水冲破石桥的护栏，跃上了街道。半个小时后，街道上的洪水近一米高了，人们再也不敢在街道上行走了。我站在自家楼上，鸟瞰街道：往日欢声笑语的街道以不复存在了，取而代之的是湍急的洪水。
洪水慢慢退了。当人们回到家中时，却发现不少家具不知去处。洪水退了，却留下了痛楚和惋惜。于是人们在没电没水的情况下，你帮我我帮他，清理起洪水留下的那层厚厚的泥沙……
