我生活在一个山清水秀的城市——清远，它还有一个美丽的别称，叫做"凤城"。
这是一座富有魅力的城市，位于广东省的北部，毗邻广州。它有一条哺育了千千万万清远人的母亲河——北江。北江河就像一条玉带一样，把这个城市温柔地分成了南北两岸。在北江市区沿岸绵延数公里的就是江滨公园了。公园里绿树垂荫，繁花似锦。还可以看见我们清远的市花——禾雀花，有听说过吗？就是长得像一只只禾花雀一样的花，神奇而又灵动。有黄绿色的，还有紫红色的，十分招人喜爱。走进江滨公园，迎面就可看见一尊洁白的神女雕像。她的手里还捧着一个可爱的小男孩，矗立在水中央，总是会有很多的游客围着它拍照留念。站在江滨公园向河对岸望过去，就看到北江河上最耀眼的明珠——江心岛了。曾经，这里是一片滩涂，四处杂草丛生。随着社会工业化的发展，城市的繁荣，北江也受到不同程度的污染，河水变混浊了，鱼虾少了，母亲河失去了往的光泽。后来，经过治理，勤劳善良的清远人民用自己的双手和智慧使北江河水又变清了，并在上面绣上了最美的图画。夜晚的江心岛最迷人了，上面有无数栩栩如生的花灯，还有新建成的郭南斯艺术馆，都是观光休闲的好去处。整座江心岛就好似一只流光溢彩的的大贝壳，散发着璀璨的光芒。岛的旁边还有游艇不来回的穿梭，更给整个江滨公园增添了一丝浪漫的色彩。
