强烈的药水味儿，洁白的被单有些叫人害怕，姥姥的病房里挤满了人，每个人都在哭，哭得那样悲凉。我快步走进去，直奔姥姥的床头，大喊：“姥姥，我来了，您可以安心走了。我一定好好学习，励志成才。姥——”姥姥突然缓慢睁开眼睛，冰凉的手紧紧握住我的手，点了点头。一瞬间，老手与小手渐渐分开，这一画面永远定格在我的心中。
从此“勤奋学习，励志成才”成了我对姥姥一生的诺言。
为了考上一个重点中学，我经历了许多。那年夏天，聒噪的蝉鸣不停但打不破我励志的梦。我去书店买下了所有小升初复习资料，回家后抓紧每时每刻时间都在题海里遨游。重点难题题型，我都用电脑上画图的工具画在电脑中，又在电脑上建了一个“难题文件夹”，一道题一道题往上打。
考试前五天，我信心满满，我知道灰姑娘蜕变成公主的秘密不是水晶鞋，而是执着的精神与永不言败的信心。我在算术本上写下了勤奋学习，励志成才“八个大字，并在下面写上“我一定会考上理想的中学”，算了算同样的话写了五十多遍，也在心中默念了五十多遍。
“功夫不负有心人”，我立下的誓言，许下的心愿一切都成为了现实。那一天，我来到姥姥的坟头，第一次流下热泪，不是不坚强，而是对姥姥的思念与成功的喜悦融合在了一起。我知道这是一小步而已，我还需要做许多许多，要励志成为祖国的栋梁之才！
“有其志必成其事。”只有从小时候就励志成才的人，长大以后才会是有能力报效祖国，使祖国更加繁荣昌盛。作为当代的一名中学生，我继续梦想着考上重点高中、大学，不断成长成才。
