年的初中生活，我快乐无忧地成长，60公斤，1米78的个头，别人都说我是个小帅哥。学习成绩不错，是公认的三好学生。然而，我是一个有点极端的人。自负的个性让我从不知道反省，也不知道后悔。
直到我家发生巨大的变故——-深爱我的母亲去世了，懵懂的我才开始反省。
我一直是父母的心头肉。小时候，尽管父母百般呵护，我还是七灾八难的。三天两头闹病，瘦得活象旧社会的三毛。家里有好吃的，总是可我先吃。特别是吃鱼，妈妈总是捡鱼头鱼尾吃。我天真地认为，妈妈爱吃鱼头鱼尾。每次吃鱼，我把鱼肉吃的差不多了，再夹给妈妈。妈妈还高兴地说：“还是我儿子惦着我！”我还以为是自己懂事呢。今天我才知道，这就是母爱，母爱是多么宽厚无私啊！
我跟姐姐渐渐长大，家里的负担一天天加重。父亲出外打工，母亲在家种地。一年攒下的钱都供我跟姐姐上学了，渐渐入不敷出。妈妈有病从来不上医院，随便买几片止痛片吃下去，又去下地了。终于有一天，妈妈被邻居从地里抬回来。我才知道，妈妈生病了。以后妈妈就再也没有起床。
燕子去了，秋风来了，母亲这时永远地离开了我们。这天，我如果不是去参加这一次无聊的考试，母亲也许不会郁郁而终——-最后没能看见她眷爱的儿子一眼。我回来后，摸着母亲冰凉的手，伏在母亲的身上，号啕大哭……
我不是个好儿子！从小就有个宁脾气，时常跟妈妈顶嘴。自己做错了事，也从来不认错。母亲去了，我连说对她一声“对不起”的机会都没有了！“谁言寸草心，报得三春晖”我还没有长大，用什么报答母亲呢？优异的学习成绩，换来的只是周围人无味的赞美，却再也换不来这一份早逝的母爱！
母亲节到了，我用自己汗水换来的钱，买来一束康乃馨，摆到母亲的坟前。心里默想着，我要像母亲这样，做一个善良、宽容、要强的人。

古人邹忌自知自己不如城北徐公美，但却从中得出客人有求于他，他的妻子爱他，他的小妾害怕他，都是因为有求于他，这说明他是一个注重自省自知的智者。
先哲说：“人生的真谛在于认识自己，而且是正确的认识自己。”许多教育家认为，一个人的反思意识应从小培养，因为让学生学会反思，可以使学生调节学习策略，选择学习方法，有利于提高学习质量，更重要的是，还可以让学生学会自我反省，增强学生的主体意识，提高学习自学性。
传说中，上帝为人们挂上两个袋子，一前一后地挂着，前面的袋子装着别人的缺点，而后面的袋子则装着自己的缺点，所以人们做错事就习惯去别人身上挑毛病，很少怀疑自己。
就像小时候，每当我们不小心跌倒了，第一个念头就是看看什么东西绊了脚，我们总是怪别人乱放东西，实在找不到还可以怪路不平很稳，虽然这么做没有减轻疼痛，却找到一丝安慰，可以证明自己没有责任。
其实，我们遇到问题时，应该反省一下自己的行为是否正确，我们已经不是小孩子，我们要会承担自己的责任，学会反省自己的言行。
所以，当我们遇挫折时，我们只能怪自己没有选择好。因为任何时候，学会反省自己，始终是最明智、最正确的生活态度。

终于又一次的考试来临了，我本以为可以轻轻松松的，可是我错了，每一道题都似曾相识，这时想起老师们的这些话，我真是后悔也来不及。尤其是班主任的这句：“你该好好反省放行了。”更使我难受。
“叮呤……”铃声把我从思索中拉了回来，我想我确实应该反省了，倘若我课上认真听讲，这些题能似曾相识吗？倘若我及时反省我能堕落到今天这个地步吗？想想以前这个我，再想想现在的我，我真是变的太快了，我又很庆幸这次让我失败了，使我反省了，能及时改过，及时努力去追回我以前的时光。
