后来，他在准备关门修理收银机的时候，一位姑娘走了进来，天啊，那位姑娘就是唐克的妈妈，唐克说了声：“你的头发真漂亮。”他想要伸出手去，但是却把姑娘给吓跑了。之后又有一大群人来了，他们买了许多东西，但是唐克不会算账，之后又有一个小伙子来帮忙，那个人竟然就是唐克的爸爸。这个空间里，他们三个人又在一起，但都不认识，唐克想撮合他们，但是，爸爸竟然已经和比利阿姨结婚了。唐克十分伤心。地震了，他们赶快逃到了另一个空间，他们又穿越回来了。
这个故事告诉我们要好好学习，如果不好好学习，连一个十分简单的糖果店老板都干不成。人们都说我们少年儿童是祖国的未来，我们如果都像唐克一样，那么等到我们长大之后，怎么去工作，如何做好自己的工作。那时我们怎么能成为祖国的栋梁，每个人都这样，自己的事都干不好，何谈为国家做贡献。
所以“好好学习，天天向上”不只是一句口号，我们更应该踏踏实实的“好好学习”。
