早就听说“春秋看淹城”了，一下车我们就迅速排好队，跟着导游进了门。淹城一共有三城三河，外城墙，外城河，内城墙，内城河，子城墙和子城河，这建筑是古常州人智慧的结晶。一进门我们就去看楠木独木舟，还有一些陶器，据说，这独木舟可是举世闻名的，已经有几千多年的历史了，最大的一条在故宫博物馆里。往里走便是三个土墩，听导游说，这三个土墩有个美丽的传说：奄君有一个貌似天仙的女儿，名叫百灵公主。奄君把她嫁给了邻国的一位王子。有一天，王子趁奄君外出时，以妻子百灵公主的名义，偷走了白玉龟，奄君得知后勃然大怒，不问原由就把百灵公主尸分三段，后来得知真相，后悔不已，命人厚葬了百灵公主，就是我们现在看到的“头墩.肚墩.脚墩。”大家听后都为百灵公主感到惋惜。顺着导游指的方向看去，这三个土墩上的树木苍翠挺拔，仿佛在守护着百灵公主呢！我们走在弯弯曲曲的小径上，走过河边时我发现小河碧波荡漾，河中的荷花依旧绽放，把淹城装点得更加美丽，更加迷人。
下一站是文慧园，文慧园中的草坪宛如一张绿毯子，河水清澈见底，真是一个人间仙镜呀！
接着又去了市民广场，广场上处处都有欢声笑语，热闹非凡。
最后一站是同学们心驰神往的红梅公园。一进去，就看见绿绿的草坪，盛开着几朵鲜花。还有高耸入云的文笔塔，这文笔塔有7层高，上面有一个金光闪闪的葫芦，游人看了惊叹不已。一旁的小河中，波光粼粼，一阵微风吹过，河面不时荡起阵阵涟漪。水中的.鱼儿自由自在地游来游去，在水中欢快地觅食。在文笔塔后有一座山，名叫笔架山，这笔架山似花果山水帘洞，上面的水慢慢地流泻下来。这么美丽的景色，无怪乎每天慕名而来的游客络绎不绝。导游带着我们来到了游乐场，游乐场可热闹了，欢笑声，尖叫声交织成一片交响乐。我们赶紧排队买票，那队伍就像一条长长的巨龙。一会儿我就买到了一张“飓风飞椅”的票，我等了一会儿，终于轮到我了，我找了个位子坐了下来，不一会，椅子旋转起来，慢慢上升，那一刻，我的心提到了嗓子眼上，椅子越来越快，我不时地朝下看，呀！我离地面那么远了，怎么办？我越来越害怕，不过，后来我不经意朝旁边一看，才发觉红梅公园的景色尽收眼底，我正陶醉在风景中，椅子突然下降，我恋恋不舍得走了下来。
