是啊，这是一首唱给很小的孩子听的歌!婶母迈勒保证说：我努力去理解也无法懂得这首'跳吧，舞吧，我的小宝贝!'可是小阿玛莉亚却很懂得它。她只有三岁，和玩具娃娃一起玩，她要把这些娃娃教得和迈勒婶母一样聪明。家里来了一位大学生。他和小阿玛莉亚的哥哥一起念书。他对小阿玛莉亚和她的玩具娃娃讲了许多话，他讲的`和别人讲的完全不一样。小家伙觉得他有趣极了，可是迈勒婶母却说他根本不懂得和小孩子打交道，小家伙们的头脑里根本不可能装下那些闲言乱语。但小阿玛莉亚能装进去，而且还能把大学生教给她的那首歌跳吧，舞吧，我的小宝宝!全都背出来。她给她的三个玩具娃娃唱。它们之中两个是新的，其中一个是位小姐，另一个是位先生;不过第三个是旧的，名字叫莉瑟。她也能听这首歌，而且她就在歌里。

戴着帽子，又戴着手套，
