那是一个明媚的午后，我的凳子坏了，于是我拿着凳子骑车去修。我走在马路中央，我觉马路上车太多了想到人行道上去。可是，就在我正要上去的时候，突然“砰”的一声，我下车一看，果然，车胎烂了。我知道附近有一家修车的地方，便想去修。我一摸口袋，糟了，一分钱都没有！我彻底绝望了：这里离家很远，难道我要一步一步推着回家吗？这是多么荒唐啊！我小心翼翼地推着前进，生怕把缺口磨损地更大。
“喂，小伙子！”在我的'身后一个声音传来，“我借给你五元钱，你去修车吧。”我一回头，发现这个人是位老太爷。他的头发花白，戴着一顶灰帽子，穿着一身整齐、简洁的服装，显得格外精神。“可以吗！”我怯怯地问。“当然，给你钱。”说着，他将钱拿了出来。我接过钱，顿时觉得一股暖流流遍全身，眼泪几乎夺眶而出。我问到：“您的家住在哪，我好方便去找您？”他说：“就在学校附近，你还不还都无所谓。”
接着，我拿着钱去修车，在修车的过程中，我下定决定，一定要还！这位老大爷这么好，我如果不去还，怎么能对得起自己的良心呢？修好车后，我立马飞奔到家，取出了钱，送到了老大爷家。老大爷笑呵呵地说：“你还真是守信用啊，长大后一定不得了。”老大爷的夸奖令我心中美滋滋的，心中就像吃了蜜一样甜。
这位老大爷在我最无奈、最困难时帮助我的事我久久不能忘记。现在想起来我仍然很感动，在这个冰冷的世界里，原来还有许许多多的好人和温暖的事情。我们在生活中的事情就像许多闪烁的星星，这件事一定是最亮的一颗。
