Dear Sunsan,
I am very glad to receive your letter. And I'd like very much to be your pen friend. I was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province on October 18, 1993. Now I am studying at Yingze Primary School. There are about 100 teachers and 1,500 students in our school. We study Chinese, maths, English and some other subjects. I like English best, because it is useful in the world.
There are three people in my family. My parents are both doctors. I love them, and they are very kind to me. But they are strict with me, too.
I hope one day I can go and visit your country.
With best regards!
Yours,
Zhang Li

Dear Li Hua,
Thank you for your letter dated September 16.It wasn't until yesterday that I got it,as I had been out on business for a week.

Dear Li Ling,
These days Tom Cruise, the film star, always comes into my mind. I think of him night and day. I just sit in my room and watch videos of his films again and again. I’ve written hundreds of letters to him and sent e-mails to his fan club, but all I get back are only photos with his names on them. I dream that some day I’ll meet him and that he’ll feel the same way about me. I don’t want to learn my lessons any more, and I’ll have final exams next month.
I’m thinking of running away to Hollywood to meet him. Can you help me with the problem?
Yours,
Lucy
Dear Jim,
I really feel worried about you. You used to do well in your lessons and took an active part in the activities at school. But now you are so crazy about computer games that you have no interest in your schoolwork and don't listen to teachers as carefully as before in class. Also, you can't hand in your homework on time.
Perhaps playing computer games can make you feel relaxed, but if you spend too much time on it, you will have less time to study. And it may do harm to your health. For example, it can hurt your eyes and neck.
I hope you should achieve a balance between your schoolwork and your hobbies. Why not join in some outdoor activities when you feel bored? As your friend, I‘ll be glad to share your happiness and sadness.
Best wishes
Li Hua
