1.兴趣广泛不一定是好事
很多人都有着广泛的兴趣，但是对于有些人来说，兴趣广泛并不一定是件好事。每个人的精力和时间都是有限的，在这有限的时间里我们真正能专心去做的事情并不是很多的，如果既对这个有兴趣，又对那个有兴趣，做一会这个，再做一会那个，那么最后的结果可能就是什么都做了，但是什么也没有收获。因此对于大多数人来说，兴趣广泛并不一定是件好事。
2.切忌一切跟着兴趣走
古希腊有个寓言是这样讲的：一头驴听说蝉唱歌好听，便头脑发热，要向蝉学习唱歌。于是蝉就对驴说：“学唱歌可以，但你必须每天像我一样以露水充饥。”于是，驴听了蝉的话，每天以露水充饥，其结果呢，没有几天，驴就饿死了。
这个故事讲起来有点残忍，可现实生活中像驴这样的人还很多。如果一个企业家，也凭着一时兴趣，一时爱好去干事，试想，结果会比驴好到哪里去呢?
兴趣在某种程度上是出于感性的东西，而企业的老板单凭着兴趣去开发产品是会走向盲区的。
一个企业的管理者应首先明确自己的位置，否则，任何“凭兴趣”的管理对企业来说都只是不负责任的游戏而已。
