这时有一个胖胖的人来了，用桶子把水姑娘装了起来，水姑娘着急的问他。你干嘛把我装起来，要把我带到那里去？胖子说：我们家来纯净水厂大的，没有了水，就把你装回去当纯净水卖。
水姑娘说不行，你这样的欺骗人，是会有报应的，说完就掀起了大波浪回到了水了。
胖子也被淋成了落汤鸡，气奋的走了。
这时一个穷人走了过来，用瓢子把她瓢了起来，水姑娘着急的问他你干嘛把我瓢起来，要把我带到哪里去？穷人说我的孩子已经三天没有吃东西了，快要死了，求你救救他吧。
水姑娘看了看那个穷人说；你跟着我来，我知道那里有吃的东西。于是水姑娘欢快的流淌着，穷人兴奋的跑着，跑着，突然在他的`眼前出现了一棵结满了又大又红的苹果树，你快摘两个去给你的孩子吃，吃了以后就会不饿了的，而且他的病也会好的。穷人摘了两个下来飞快的往家跑。水姑娘高兴的笑了起来。
过了几天，穷人带着他的孩子来到小溪边想谢谢水姑娘，但是再也找不到她了，因为她去了更需要她的地方。
