暑假的一天，我们全家人参加了石门湖一日游。石门湖是个小有名气的.景区，那里有小孩们喜欢的水上乐园，有大人们想去的最忆岛，有美丽的秀水湾……对了，那里还能划船呢。可是这些我都不感兴趣，我最感兴趣的是那引人瞩目的篝火晚会……
篝火晚会开始了。我站在高处俯视下面，只见中间有一团烧得正旺的篝火，旁边是由许多人们拉起的大圆圈，里三层，外三层，真可以说是人山人海了，人们欢笑着谈论着，手拉手得跳起了舞，看着人们亲切地样子，我不由自主地加入了他们的行列。我们手拍手，肩碰肩，高声大喊，学蛙跳，真是快乐极了。
不一会儿，篝火烧完了，跳舞结束了，正当我失望之余。另一个精彩的节目出现了，穿大木屐。大木屐是用一米长的木板制成的，可以三个人穿。这个节目是又精彩又搞笑。看，台上的两人穿着大木屐，镇定自如，像蛇一样灵巧的走来走去，扭来扭去，一会儿做出三百八十度扭转;一会儿又跳起了舞;一会儿又倒着走。他们熟练的动作，真让我惊叹不已。这可真精彩。再看看台下的游客们，也都迫不及待地抢着穿大木屐，先入我视线的是三个叔叔，他们脚穿大木屐，手都搭在前面人的肩上。正在整齐大方地向前走，他们边走边冲我们得意地挥手，开始漫不经心起来，结果可想而知，他们摔了个“狗吃屎 ”。我们大家都哈哈大笑起来……
再下一个节目是“泰国舞”，表演的阿姨们戴着长指甲，身穿黄色衣服，那一个动作，一个转圈，都叹为观止……
节目一个一个过去了，时间一点一点变少了，我迈着恋恋不舍的步子离开了石门湖，我心想：下次如果有机会，我一定会再来参加篝火晚会的。

This is my first week in ** Senior Middle School.Everything here is new for me.Our school is an old school but it`s very beautiful.I have 50 new classmates in my class.They`re all very excellent, I think, and I felt a little sad.Because I`m too common.But come to think of it,it`s a very good thing.I believe I can also be very excellent if I study with such excellent classmates.I didn`t know why Ms *** chose me to be the committee of study.But I know it`s a good chance for me to raise my ability.All I can do is do my best in the future.I am sure that Ms *** and my classmates can help me when I do something wrong. Because they`re all very kind.It`s a pleasure to work and study with them.I`m really very happy.I`m not an outstanding student in this class,but I can do the same thing like others.I believe I won`t make anyone disappointed.

这个星期五，我和胡涵，许文彬一起去参加英语讲故事比赛，这个参赛资格可是我好不容易才和别的同学争取来的，所以在练习时候要更尽心尽力了! 我还好在星期三上午，就把稿子背下来，星期四课间，上台表演就能发挥最好水平。
星期五，我就早早起床，穿好衣服，去化妆店，化上了妆，又把稿子背了几次，把书包放了就向城里出发。我们先坐16路再坐308。到了比赛场地，陈老师已经在那儿了。 我十分紧张。开始抽签了，看着周围陌生的脸，手心渐渐出了汗，但愿我不是第一个，但愿我能发挥出最好水平，但愿我不会出现差错。老师打开签，2号，老师暗自庆幸：“幸亏不是1号，也不在后面，听到后面，容易听觉疲劳。”可这时，我们又听到一个不好的消息：那排第一的学校没来，我先上。老师听了，马上对那个人说：“不行，再等一等，我们又没抽到1号，干什么让我们先?”我又排到了第三，终于轮到我了，我不能想象一个人站在一个大房子里，许多陌生人看着你那阴森的目光，太可怕了，我勉强挤出一丝笑容，走了进去，可当我一说起故事，我就不紧张了，讲完后，又蹦跳着出来，听见有位老师说：“这孩子的表情……” 我们学校比完后，老师带我们去玩了一会儿，吃了中饭就回了学校。 回到家，爸爸说我这次没说好，下次要做的更好，我也这么想的。 只要我尽力了，我就不后悔。

Here Hemingway recasts,in strikingly contemporary style,the classic thene of courage in the face of defeat,of personal triumph won from los.
Written in 1952,this hugely successfully novella confirmed his power and presence in the literary world and played a huge part in his winning the 1954 Nobel Prize for Literature.
The novel is very famous in the world, so lot of people like this novel. We also studied it in our Chinese class, Hemingways novel are always interesting I like his novel much, also in his novel we can learn a lot by his meanings.
It’s really a good novel for people to read.
