月宫才刚刚建成一个像小船的形状，材料就用光了！这怎么办呀，再过几天嫦娥就要来了！于是王母急中生智，决定让星星们聚在一起，用它们来补全剩下的部分！
过了几天，嫦娥来了，王母与她便不亦乐乎地玩了起来：打电动、ktv……那些星星倒大霉了！
过了几天，嫦娥准备打道回府，却突然发现她乘坐的飞船没燃料了！在王母的请求下，她便答应留了下来。王母让星星们好好补着残缺的月亮。可王母一走，星星们便开始“罢工”了，散落在天空各处；当王母放假来玩时（一般为每月阴历十五左右），它们又乖乖地聚集起来，天上的星星又变少了！
