初三英文作文阅读【一】
当我从众多书的目录中选择了《高老头》这本书时，原因只是因为它的故事简介实在是太有趣了，讲了高老头是法国大革命时期起家的面粉商人，中年丧妻，他把自己所有的爱都倾注在两个女儿身上。为了让她们挤进上流社会，从小给她们良好的教育，出嫁时，给了她们每人80万法郎的陪嫁，让大女儿嫁给了雷斯托伯爵，做了贵妇人；小女儿嫁给银行家纽沁根，当了金融资产阶级阔太太。他以为女儿嫁了体面人家，自己便可以受到尊重、奉承。那知不到两年，女婿竟把他当作要不得的下流东西，把他赶出家门。高老头为了获得他们的好感，忍痛出卖了店铺，将钱一分为二给了两个女儿，自己便搬进了伏盖公寓。两个女儿只要爸爸的钱，可现在高老头已没钱了。最后他的女儿过着奢靡的生活，而他却穷死在小阁楼里。这样的故事情节实在是令人好奇。
但当我开始看的时候，我觉得真的很无聊很枯燥，根本就提不起人的兴趣，因为开篇一直在描写环境，通过环境描写来铺垫剧情和渲染主基调。好像大多数外国的经典小说都是这样的，一开始都在进行环境描写，看《巴黎圣母院》的时候也是这样，开头一直在写背景什么的，导致我也没能看下去。但是这次一定要看完啊，要交作业的。
但阅读到最后，我越感受到人性的冷漠，那么为她们付出的父亲，她们也只是不断压榨，从来不去关心一下他，难道她们认为她们的父亲理所当然为她们卖了自己的店铺和住进了最低等的房间？这是高老头死前的一个片段：“‘一个也不来’拉斯蒂捏嚷道，‘让我写信给她们。\'’一个也不来，‘老人坐起来接着说，’她们有事，她们在睡觉，她们不会来的。我早知道了。直要临死才知道女儿是什么东西！朋友，你别结婚，别生孩子！你给他们生命，他们给你死。你带他们到世界上来，他们把你从世界上赶出去。她们不会来的！我已经知道了十年。有时我心里这么想，只是不敢相信。‘高老头死了，两个女儿谁也没有来，他的钱都给女儿花光了，到死连入殓的衣服都没有，是拉斯蒂涅卖了自己的表才给他入殓的。 ”
终于认清女儿的真面目，但是已经没有重活的机会了，他要带着遗憾和不甘去世了！

书可以医治愚昧，书可以使人聪慧，书是人类进步的阶梯，书掩饰着成长的途径，每当我捧起书，就会有一种亲切感，书里的知识是宝贵的，不读书，就是输在了起跑线上。
没有书的世界是乏味的，没有认真阅读过人的生命是不完整的，没有阅读的生活也是苍白的，没有色彩，读书的人是快乐的，我的人生因读书而变得灿烂而绚丽多彩。
书是无穷的宝藏，它为我增添了丰富的经验，书里蕴含着快乐的天堂，让我忘记了所有的庸俗，书还像一团温暖的火焰，照亮了我的人生隐藏在黑暗之中的路。
在阅读的过程中，我懂得了遇事要坚强，同时也吸取了战胜困难的经验。：书山有路勤为径，苦海无涯苦作舟。阅读带给我无尽的快乐。我在阅读中成长，也在阅读中收获。
阅读让我成长，书香让我振奋，只有不断的阅读，知识的甘泉才不会干涸，才会取之不尽，用之不竭，阅读成了我生活中不可缺少的一部分，因为阅读让我快乐，阅读让我成长……

《高老头》是一部批判现实主义的时代小说，它浓缩了时代色彩，展现了当时社会里人与人之间的虚伪、狡诈、残忍……这部小说最成功之处，我认为是作者形象地描写了主人公高老头的两个女儿。她们在父爱的滋润下，从小过着奢华的生活，长大后贪图富贵、追求名利，便都带着父亲精心准备的巨额嫁妆，嫁给了有钱有权之士，进入了梦寐以求的上流社会之中。从此，便抛弃父亲，让他孤苦一人过着寒酸的生活……直至高老头临死前哭天喊地想见她们最后一面，都感化不了她们的铁石心肠，最终只能带着遗憾离开人间。巴尔扎克用他那锋利的笔，把这两个女人卑鄙的心理、虚伪的面孔、惨无人道的行为揭露得淋漓尽致。这两个女人简直就是当时社会中无数妇人的缩影，巴尔扎克这一以小见大之笔，真是恰到好处。
从小说的字里行间，无不流露着高老头那深沉的父爱。但这无私的爱在金钱社会里是一文不值的，几乎沦落为女儿们索钱的工具。两个女儿残忍不已，虽然抛弃了父亲，但一需要钱就马上想到了父亲。她们一而再、再而三地利用父亲善良的心、无私的爱，从而夺取大量金钱。之后，又狠狠地把父亲踢开。这时，高老头就如同从天堂掉进地狱，心痛得无法言喻。虽然他知道女儿们的心思，但只要看到女儿们的笑容，就毫无怨言，而且还非常乐观，总安慰自己：女儿是爱自己的，她们这样做也是迫不得已的……但高老头只能以一次次的希望换来一次次的失望。这是无私的父爱！他只懂得付出、给予，却不曾索取过、抱怨过。这是伟大的父爱！他只要看到女儿们快乐，自己也就跟着快乐。他的呼吸与女儿们同步，至死为止……
高老头为女儿们献出了一切，乃至自己的生命。其实，他所做的这一切，只是想女儿们快乐地生活着。就是这样一个小小的、单纯的愿望而己，这也是现实生活中许多父母的共同心愿。父母对孩子倾注了一生的心血，让孩子茁壮成长……到头来，孩子长大了，成人了，父母也没有多大的期望，也只是希望孩子快乐。父母对我们付出了这么多，处处为我们着想，而我们有时却不能理解父母的良苦用心，有时甚至是误解。现在想想，我们真的很不懂事，所以以后我们要多体谅父母、理解父母。在这里，请记住一句话：“你的笑容，永远是父母最大的安慰。”我们要经常在脸上挂着心中的笑容，让父母与我们同乐。
读了这部小说，使我不得不感叹金钱社会的残酷无情：钱可以买到一切，但买到的都只是表面的东西。亲情在金钱社会中沦落，友情、爱情当然也不例外。可怜的人们，都被金钱、名利冲昏了头。人性早已泯灭，良心早己丢失……
前车之覆，后车之鉴。有了这个经典的故事作为教训，我们要引以为戒。不要太看重金钱、名利、地位之类，这一切将使我们迷失方向，以至人性泯灭。我们要多关心身边的人，希望不会再出现第二个可怜的“高老头”！

In recent years, tourism has developed rapidly in China. Many people believe that tourism produce positive effects on economic growth and we should try our best to promote tourism. But what these people fail to see is that tourism may bring about a disastrous impact on our environment. As for me, I\'m firmly convinced that too much tourists bring harm to the environment.
The bad impact of tourism on the environment has mainly expressed itself in various ways. One way is the proceof exploiting a new scenic spot. In order to attract tourists, a lot of artificial facilities have been built, which have certain unfavorable effects on the environment. This proceusually breaks the ecological balance of the area. In some mountainous places, trees are being cut down to build hotels for others to see and explore the beauty of the mountains. Then land slides and mud-rock flows come up. Another way the development of tourism has damaged the environment occurs when tourists go to scenic spots. Some tourists don\'t have the awareneto protect the environment, and ignorantly throw their garbage here and there. Some people even kill the local wildlife to eat, which badly damages the balance of the natural environment.
It is wrong to sacrifice the environment for the growth of tourism. We must keep in mind that too much tourists bring harm to the environment. We need to find a balance between satisfying the needs of tourists and reducing to a minimum the pollution they cause.

Will Tourism Bring Harm to the Environment? Tourism has developed by leaps and bounds in the past decades in the whole world. Therefore, the issue of whether the tourism will bring harm to the environment is becoming a matter of concern. As for me, I hold that the tourism does more harm than good to the world. In the first place, the more places we travel to , the more pressure will be added to the environment. Take Dunhuang as an example, the greatest scourge these days comes from the tourists who swarm here by the busload , bring destructive amounts of carbon dioxide and moisture into the caves along with their eagernefor a glimpse of ages past . Secondly, It has become fashionable for travelers to drive a private car to the place they want to . In this case ,a large number of cars are mushroomed in the road and it cause twice as much as air pollution .At this speed ,we may live in a world which is full of dirty air instead of fresh air. In sum , although tourism is playing an indispensable we`d better try to limit role in the society , I still believe that its speed according to the harm that brings to the environment.
The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are two typical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides, forest destruction , water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.
Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of \"sustainable development\", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.
What\' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousneof the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.

st summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of visitors.Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests. There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice,
elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.
I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, you\'ll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.
I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.
The trip to Yunnan impressed me GREatly. I will never forget it.

前几天刚把《高老头》这本书看完了，深深感觉到资本主义社会那种人情的淡薄，当时人们唯一的追求就是金钱和权利，而此书中的主人公高里奥（高老头）就是最大的受害者。他原本是一个精明的面条商，赚了不少钱，成了当地的名人。他有两个女儿，由于妻子的早逝，他对两个女儿爱戴有加，可以说是溺爱，不，比溺爱还要溺爱！这也是他悲剧的导火索，正是他的畸形的爱使他不但没得到女儿的爱，还招来了她们的恨，甚至连他驾鹤西去的时候也没见到他两个心爱的宝贝女儿。
他那两个女儿一个选择了金钱——嫁给了一位银行家，一个选择了地位———嫁给了一位男爵，它们所选的路不同，但同时选择了上流社会，也同时放弃了父亲———深爱着她们的父亲！她们只有在最困难的时候想到了父亲，把他的一切都掏空后竟然抛他而去，连死的时候都没见上一面，虽然她们都有各自的理由。最终，她们失去了父亲的庇佑，同时也失去了快乐，失去了自己的一切。这也许就是她们应得的，而这一切只因为一个父亲的爱，过分的爱，畸形的爱！
文中还有一个人物就是欧仁，他开始是一个想拼命挤进上流社会的大学生，甚至为了这个目的一而再，再而三地向母亲、姑姑、表妹伸手要钱，明知她们已经没钱了，还是开口要钱，为此，母亲和姑姑不得不外出赚钱来给他，还把表妹的私房钱全部搜刮。他揣着这来之不易的钱，通过表姐（上流社会的风流人物，后来因为情夫的背叛而醒悟过来，找了个偏僻的地方重新来过）在上流社会中游走，那时侯的他非常兴奋，因为他进入了这个圈子。
高里奥是同他住在同一寓所里的，当他得知高里奥的两个女儿的真实情况后对这怪老头另眼相待，后来通过一系列的事情变故之后，他觉悟了，他被高里奥的父爱所感动，也为两个女儿（特别是小女儿，因为他们是相爱的，他企图让她爱她的父亲）对父亲临死前的冷漠态度感到吃惊。最后，他安葬了高老头，同时也安葬了他一直以来的梦想……在当时的社会背景之下，他成了一股清泉，虽然他曾经污浊过。
