我是一只被圈养的猪，和我居住在一起的有另外两个伙伴，我们每天吃饱喝足后就是蒙头大睡，如此循环往复，日复一日。
慢慢地我长大了，也日渐肥胖。庞大的身躯让我每天连站起来都有些困难，我开始担忧自己这样是不是生病了。而且我长得比其他同伴都要胖，主人会不会先把我给宰了。为了更长久地享受我这种无忧无虑地生活，我提醒自己每天要少吃点，也要多像其他同伴一样，多出去走动走动。要是以前，即便主人偶尔放我们出来，我也是赖在猪窝不愿出去的。
今天，我出来活动了，我看着伙伴们，兴奋地东闯西闯，我就纳闷着，它们是有什么好开心的呢？在猪窝里睡觉，不是更好。我不像它们，我只是慢悠悠地在主人的园子里到处转转。突然我发现，在菜园子里忙碌的主人，我便站在门口静静观看。
主人先是锄地，然后撒菜籽播种，最后浇水。渐渐地，太阳大了起来，我看见豆大的汗珠从主人额头上滴下来。我对着主人喊道：“主人，太阳太大了，您先回来休息吧！以后再做也不迟。“主人擦擦汗，看了看我笑着说：”我很快就忙完了，下午还有其他事做呢？“我不解地问主人：”为什么你们人类，总是那么忙忙碌碌，没有闲暇时光的呢？你看，我们做猪的多好呀！每天吃饱喝足就是睡，什么都不用干。“主人继续笑着说：”我们当然也会休息，但我们为了更好的生活，都得很努力地工作。你们是什么都不用做，但你们必须依赖着我们，而且最终都会成为餐桌上的一盘肉。“听到一盘肉的时候，我在心里打了一个寒颤。我有些心虚地问主人：“主人，那你不会现在就把我宰了吧……我还没活够呢？”“现在倒不会，但总有那么一天的……”主人回答道。
听完主人的回答，我闷闷不乐地回到猪圈，我突然不知道自己为什么会生活在这里。四处都脏兮兮的，我居然一点也不介意。我是从什么时候起，开始习惯了猪的生活，没有任何***，没有任何想法。难道我短暂的一生，就只是为了吃饱长胖，成为餐桌上的一盘肉吗？我突然有些羡慕人类，人生可以有那么多种可能性，可以自己主导自己的生活。
