老鼠弟弟立即出发，走过崎岖的山路，到了一个湖边，老鼠弟弟又不懂游泳，正感旁徨，突然，一只乌龟游过来，原来是乌龟伯伯!老鼠弟弟立即爬在他的背上，游到湖的另一边。后来，鼠弟弟又遇见小鸟姊姊，小鸟说：「骑在我背上吧!我带你上山顶。」说罢，便飞到山顶。鼠弟弟拿到「七彩草」后便回家了。终於救回老鼠妈妈的性命了。
