地球上有8900多种鸟类，繁殖时少则数10只。孵蛋所需的时间又因种类而异，从10几天到几个月不等。怎么能让这些鸟蛋在孵化中不到处滚落，并且免受天敌的残害呢？筑巢！巢是鸟类最可靠的“家”,雏鸟最温馨的摇篮。
位于北京奥林克公园中心区南部的国家体育场〔鸟巢〕更是高科技的代表物品,也是中国人的“鸟巢”。屋顶钢结构上覆盖了双层膜结构及固定于钢结构上弦之间的透明的上层ETFE膜和固定于钢结构下弦之下及内环侧壁的半透明的下层PTFE声学吊顶。仅仅是屋顶就这么讲究，可以想象这一建筑——鸟巢，是花费了多少设计者与建筑师的心血，同时也体现了中国的科技的发达，使中国向全世界展示了我们的努力与成功。
当然作为国家级的建筑，绿化也是必不可少的部分，它最大限度的利用自然风光和自然采光，不仅节约资源，更让人感受到了大自然的温暖，周围郁郁葱葱的树木，更是一派惬意的景象。
鸟巢内，一层，五层的相互区域，展示了“鸟巢”在施工建设中的所采用的工程技术亮点，更有奥运媒体区，它的场馆中心主要有媒体看台，媒体工作间等媒体的活动场所。
走累了，玩累了，也适时补充一点能量，位于鸟巢西侧的鸟巢旅游主题创意吧，“美味、绿色、健康”是创意餐吧对饮食产品的要求，最大限度的保障餐品的绿色健康。而位于鸟巢一层东侧的还巢运动吧，主要经营体育礼品、日用品、食品及饮料等。这里环境优美，让人感受到浓浓的奥运气息和文化氛围。鸟巢三层的园丁园餐厅地理位置更是得天独厚，在我看来更令我奇怪的是那桌子的独特风格支撑桌面的两根纯白色的酷似鸟笼一样的中间空心的柱子，搭配黑色的方格桌面和米色的沙发，煞是好看。
它成为北京市提供市民广泛参与活动及享受体育娱乐的大型专业场所，成为全国具有标志性的体育娱乐建筑和高科技的代表物品。
不仅是鸟巢这一个代表性建筑，我们周围也有着高科技的物品。例如大多人家都有的电视机、电灯、电脑、手机、冰箱等物品。
位于渝北区的3号线轻轨，是离我家最近的一条轻轨，它车头是黑色的.，车身是白色的，但却又有着蓝色的边包裹，开起来格外清爽，它从渔洞站一直到江北机场站，穿梭在重庆的主城区，共运行约94分钟，尝试过才知道，轻轨不仅不像汽车一样，遇到不平的路，就很斗，而且在架起的水泥架上行驶，有一种在高空中的兴奋感，那种平平稳稳的感觉，很舒服。更让我不禁感叹科技的发达。
自然灾害永远是人们最大的敌人，旱灾更是防不胜防，而如今科学家们已经有了暂时抗旱的方法：人工降雨（就是冷云催化的效果，在温度低于0摄氏度的冷云降水过程中，形成雪晶，在气流的作用下，会落到下风方向更远的地方而改变降雨的分布。）虽然有人工降雨，但是不能经常使用，因为这是一种化学物质，对云层多多少少都有一些污染，如果多用就会破坏生态环境，影响人们的正常生活，所以这也不是根治灾害的办法，不过我相信终有一天，凭着科学家的聪明才智一定会找到方法的。
由于时间的推移，高科技的社会也随之到来，处处在身边。
