我爱用文明装饰属于自己的天空，幽蓝纯净或有淡淡的云，那是天空对大地的微笑。我爱用文明的火花装饰繁茂的树叶，燃起来了，如枯叶蝶般飘落，那是树叶对大地的赞美。我爱用文明之风来鼓舞愈盛的蒲公英，满天飞舞，那是蒲公英送给大地最好的礼物。爱文明，爱它的洁白，爱它的激情，爱它带给人类无形的影响力。
爱国——文明之开端
在古代，有像杜甫、李白这样的爱国人士，而他们也为我们所敬仰。回首历史的剪影，那一段段屈辱的历史总会让人咬牙切齿，但那些革命伟人也会让人心生敬意。是——，是他们为我们亲爱的祖国增添了一层强有力的保护层，让祖国不受任何外来袭击，风吹雨打。历史的长河汩汩流淌，英雄的鲜血渗入时间的孔隙，而文明之志激励一代又一代人不断前进。对此，让我最感到欣慰的是我的家乡——湖北省。因为它，让我明白了爱国的内在；因为它，让我懂得了什么叫自豪；因为它，让我懂得了一个省的文明精神之所在。在这里的“国家级爱国主义教育示范基地”、“武汉二七纪念馆”等就是最好的印证。故此乃文明湖北之精神所在！
生态——文明之发展
文明不仅关系到一个城市的精神风貌，还关系到一个城市的文化底蕴。近年来，湖北省坚持将环境保护融入全省发展战略，环境保护基础不断加强。在乡村，青山绿水，鸟鸣虫叫；草丰水美，风细柳斜；流水人家，榆柳娉婷。不仅如此，当你来到湖北宜昌，就会看到街道旁花朵齐放，树木忽郁，楼房建筑布局对称，显示了典型的中国风。此外，湖北省以“两型”社会建设为核心，即资源节约型、环境友好型。前者是要我们从节约做起，其中最典型的乃节约用水。曹雪芹先生说：“女儿是水做的骨肉。”从过去到现在，我不明白其含义，也不明白一个语言圣手为何这样比喻天下的女子？地球上的一切生命皆从水中来，人类也不例外。目前，我省针对严重的水污染，坚持实行最严格的水环境保护制度，江河湖库得到休养生息，所以这是湖北省为什么“优于水，也忧于水”的原因了。曾和朋友来到湖北荆州，看到洪湖上争鲜夺艳的荷花，让我对明天充满了无限向往，此乃文明之美！
素养——文明之内涵
教育家陶行知先生曾说过：“千教万教教人认真，千学万学学做真人。”
当代，人们的文化素质在不断提高。湖北省第十次党x会对我们青少年寄予了希望，希望我们为文明湖北作贡献。对于我的认知，讲卫生是关键，但现如今，有许多车主好把垃圾从车内扔到车外，从而造成了“繁花似锦”的局面。众人皆知，向车窗外随意抛物，既影响市客市貌，又严重影响交通安全。故武汉市城管部门规定，“车窗抛物”每次处罚50元，很显然，处罚非目的，倡导文明风尚才是其应有的意义。“忆过去，宜昌满地皆‘繁花’；看现在，宜昌美丽赛三亚”。此乃文明之外在与内在并兼。
