还有一次，天上还下着细雨，路面很滑，我跌跌撞撞的往前行，忽然，一位满头白发，走路一瘸一拐的老爷爷正横穿马路，他迈出的那一步刚好撞上我的自行车，我连忙刹车，但由于路面好滑，我还是把他的脚撞到了。“没事吧，老爷爷?”我停下车问。“没事，你走吧。”老爷爷微笑的面孔，让我心里的一块大石头放了下来。老爷爷微笑着摸摸我的头笑着说：“好宝贝，路上一定要小心!”看着老爷爷微笑的面孔，我大声对老爷爷说：“谢谢爷爷，我一定记住您的话”。因为我们身边的小事就能反映出一个人文明的程度，老爷爷为我做出了榜样。

为了培养我的`优点，我必须跟缺乏恒心说：“再见。”要不是昨天半途而废，我早就得冠军了；要是我不能持之以恒，就不可能跟缺点再见了。现在的我常临时抱佛脚，拿别人跟我比，我马上变成了慢郎中；更糟的是我有起床气，等坐上校车时才想到为什么要对妈妈那么凶，到最后才很惭愧。
