某些家长把鸟儿买回来，放在笼子里，然后就对孩子们说：“这是给你们玩的!”孩子们就会听着他们的话对着鸟笼又踢又打，把木棍伸进笼子里挑弄鸟儿，促使让鸟儿惊恐地飞来飞去。大人们不但不加以阻止，还要拍手叫好。鸟儿本来是自由的，如果让那些养鸟人为鸟儿设身处地地想一想，也许他们就知道怎样做了。 还有一个令我记忆犹新的片段：珍珠鸟雏儿在作者伏案写作时，扒在作者的肩上轻轻地进入甜美的梦乡。
我读着，仿佛正亲眼看见这只雏鸟正甜美入睡的情景，眯着眼睛，多么可爱! 相比之下，现在，许多猎人为牟取暴利，去捕***人类的好朋友，大熊猫、孟加拉虎、非洲象……濒临绝种的原因，就因为它们拥有了人们渴望拥有的美丽的皮毛、洁白坚硬的象牙!在一场场模特表演上，模特儿们披着貂皮大衣，穿着鳄鱼皮鞋，戴着松鼠毛领巾，一转身，迎风摆动的不但是动物的生命，还有血腥!捕***动物!这是多么丧绝人性的行为!这还是人吗?简直是禽兽! 千百年前，动物是人类的朋友。
