We should protect elephants . They are the friends of ours.

金秋十月，丹桂飘香。当晴朗的曙光铺洒上我的眼帘，又一个国庆的喜悦唤醒我激动的心情——我们一家人又要出外游玩了。
跳下床，背上整好的背包，我们一家人趁着早晨凉爽的清风来到刚建成不久的三门峡高速铁路车站。远远望见宽阔的广场四周，五颜六色的花木盛放着在微风中轻轻摇曳，干净的地板上，在太阳的照耀下，像是铺上了一层薄薄的轻纱。南端中央高高的平台上，银灰色花岗岩墙面的候车厅大楼在早晨的阳光映照下也显得高大庄严，熠熠闪着金色的光芒。我们走进宽阔的候车厅，过了安检口，一排排红色软座椅整齐地排列在大厅两边，一周高大洁净的玻璃门窗透过柔和的`光。
过了不久，就开始检票进站了，乘坐高铁插票进站，检票用时仅三四秒，“火眼金睛”的检票机为我们大家检票。到了站台那里，我已经迫不及待地想坐上高铁了。“嘟嘟嘟嘟”一声，我就知道了我盼望已久的和谐号高铁来了。外形美观的火车，看起来像地铁一样，灰色的外壳，小巧的身子上还刷上了“和谐”两个字。上了火车，里面有许多火车办不到的，比如说：在里面可以上网玩游戏，可以没有普通火车那么拥挤……在高铁上，有一个屏幕可以显出现在是多少千米一小时，爸爸告诉我说最高速340km/h。我观察着，每快到340km/h的时候就开始减速，说明快到下一站了。现在的科技可真发达呀!把国外有的引导中国来，没有的中国自己发明。几十年我们住的是小平房。现在到处都是高楼大厦。以前，觉得有一辆自行车已经很了不起了，现在满大街都是小汽车私家车。以前吃不饱穿不暖的，现在的生活可以说是什么都可以满足。

国庆中，呆在家里实在很无聊，倒不如出个远门，游游景点，开开眼界呢。经过爸爸妈妈一番商议，最终就决定去西安这座美丽而古老的城市游玩。听到西安，我的心就像被火烧着一般激动起来，要知道，西安那块可是有文明世界的四大山之一——华山呢，这能使我不激动吗?
在路途中，我的心情就开始激动不已，真想赶快见见西安，可到了西安，太阳已近亲吻着西山跟我们挥手告别了。还是先找个住处，等第二天养好精神再去旅游景点。
第二天一大早，天还蒙蒙亮，我们就坐上车去华山了，到了山脚下，抬头一望，真是宏伟有惊险，现在的华山被云雾缠绕着半个身躯，就像一位披着白色仙衣的大仙一样坐在那。从山脚下坐车几分钟就可以到缆车区坐上缆车，从缆车上向下看，真能吓出一身冷汗，几十丈高的断壁悬崖拔地而起，壮观极了。到了山中腰就得自己行走了，在山上，空气清新的很，看看周围，仿佛置身于梦境之中，奇幻无比。在通向更高地方的路只有一条，这也应证了一句古话——自古华山一条路。在这条路上，我看到了许多奇形怪状的石头和奇妙的风景，可这条路越走越险，越走越远，我们走到一半就先后泄了气，四处便观赏奇妙的风景。飘飘忽忽游览了一个上午，最后依依不舍的告别了这座名山。
第三天，法门寺又让我大饱了眼福，首先到门口第一个映入我的眼帘的就是那金碧辉煌的大殿，走到里面更是惊叹不已，每走一段路就会有两座菩萨像映入我的眼帘，菩萨像各各栩栩如生，像活的一样。因时间关系，我们没有进入大殿，可是我还是可以想象出大殿里金碧辉煌的样子。
告别了法门寺，也告别了西安这座美丽而古老的城市，我们也该回家了，在回家的途中，我的`激动的的心情还是久久不能平静下来。

国庆节7天怎样度过呢?爸爸妈妈计划带我们全家还有姥姥、姥爷和老爷爷、老奶奶一起去山西。因为山西五台是老爷爷和老奶奶的故乡，他们十几年没有回老家了，所以我们决定带他们一起回去看一看。
放假第一天早晨6点多我们从西安出发了，早晨的空气非常新鲜，道路两边风景秀丽，一路上都非常通畅，我和弟弟在车上睡了一会儿，爸爸开车快到灵石的时候，我们说那有一个著名的旅游景点——王家大院，咱们去那里参观一下吧!
王家大院已有多年历史了，老远就看见了壮丽的风景。首先映入眼帘的是王府门楼上的两个大红灯笼，旁边还有下马石和拴马桩，进入院内是错落有致的大小院落，砖雕、木雕、石雕，装饰典雅，可见过去的匠人们都是那么的心灵手巧，听导游阿姨说，高家崖和红门堡只有一桥之隔，占地面积非常大，皆为黄土高坡上的全封闭城堡式建筑，王家大院是中国清代民居建筑的抗鼎之作，其建筑规模宏大，气势壮观。
游览完王家大院以后，已经下午了，我们考虑到老爷爷和老奶奶年纪大了，赶紧驱车赶到山西太原，来到了舅爷家，第一天的行程就这样结束了。
