If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.

难道是风的缘故？我小心翼翼地挑了十片叶子，我跑到楼梯上，那里可没有风，可以更好地做实验。有的叶子我捏着叶柄喊“一二三”往空中一撒，有的捏着树叶尖抛下，还有的像玩陀螺一样用双手搓着旋儿转出手掌……一片二片三片，当十片树叶跳着优美的舞蹈缓缓落地后，我迫不及待地跑下楼，那些树叶像是约好了一样，十片树叶只有两片面朝天。这叫我百思不得其解。我带着疑惑去“问”百科全书，终于找到了答案：因为叶面是用于光合作用的，有较多的叶绿细胞，重量大的\'一面自然就朝下了。
“哦！原来如此！”我恍然大悟。我又找来了一枚一元硬币和一角硬币，掂量了一下，让它们同时从同一个楼梯落下，试了好几个不同的楼梯，每回都是一元硬币先落下。看来，不同重量的东西落地的时间也不一样。我欣喜若狂地把自己的发现炫耀给妈妈听。妈妈不仅激动地搂着我，夸我了不起，而且放了一段“伽利略比萨斜塔落体实验”网上视频给我看。
没想到原来落叶里还有这么大的学问，这可真是一“叶”知真理啊！
