原野上的绿草变黄了，变枯了，树上的叶子一片一片往下掉。从原野上走过的风，不像春天和夏天那样温暖、轻柔了。风变了，变得急匆匆、冷冰冰的，把大家撞得生疼，大家都不敢出门了。
蓝狐狸去找小青蛙玩。但小青蛙不在水里游泳，也不在岸边唱歌。他躲在家里，门窗关得严严实实，连头都不敢探出来。
“小青蛙，你为什么不出来跟我玩?你不想做我的好朋友了吗?”蓝狐狸问。
“冬天来了，我要冬眠了。”地洞里传来小青蛙闷声闷气的回答。
蓝狐狸还从来没见过冬天呢。他问小青蛙：“冬天是什么样子的?”
“我也正想知道呢。”小青蛙说，“我们青蛙家族没有谁见过冬天。因为一到冬天，我们就冬眠了，要到第二年春天才醒来。”
蓝狐狸说：“当我见到冬天的时候，我帮你把冬天画下来。”
冬天来了。雪花从天上飘下来，大地一片雪白，池塘里结了冰。小动物们在一起堆雪人，到池塘里溜冰。原野上的冬天很热闹，很美丽。
蓝狐狸白天和大家一起玩，晚上回到家里，就在一张很大的纸上画画。他要把原野上的冬天全画下来，等春天到来的时候送给小青蛙。
