武术在其发展过程中形成了多种价值功能，这些价值功能在保持社会稳定、促进社会发展当中发挥了重要的作用。武术的教育价值不同于其它体育项目，它是以文化教育和身体教育有机统一的。武术在与中国传统文化的协同发展中，自然地融会中国传统哲学、伦理、美学、医学、兵法等传统文化的思想与内容，形成武术技术与中国传统文化合二为一的武术文化。在武术文化传播中有人文价值、技击价值、社交价值、健身价值及经济价值等多种功能价值，但在学校武术教育当中体现最多的是武术的健身价值、社交价值和人文价值。

2．1学校武术教育中的健身价值

武术最初作为军事训练手段，技击的特性尤为突出，不管是格斗运动，还是套路运动，都体现了武术攻防格斗的特点。但武术在注重技击的同时，更注重养身，通过“调心”、“调息”、“调身”等功法来达到养身的目的。长期坚持武术锻炼，对外能利关节、强筋骨、壮体魄；对内能理脏腑、通经脉、调精神。武术运动讲究调息行气和意念活动，调节内环境的平衡，调养气血，改善人体机能，健体强身。普及武术，弘扬中华武术文化，通过习练武术，以及武德教育，增强青少年的自信心，磨炼人的意志，陶冶人的情操，振奋精神，健全和完善人的高尚道德品质，使人协调、自然、平衡、和谐发展，富有开拓性和创造性。

现代社会是一个人与人相互关联的社会，而社会交际是社会中一个必不可少的重要枢纽，加强中小学生的`社会交际能力对加快社会前进的步伐意义重大。课余武术教育是以学生的兴趣爱好为前提，推动学生合作交往；以亲身体验为手段，鼓励学生创新实践；以民主参与为特点，培养学生自强意识。这种强调潜能开发，注重创新精神，增强动手能力，扩大交流和展示机会的教育手段，适应学生全面发展的需要。

even if such a catastrophe would not happen, there would be a great temperature difference on the two hemispheres of the earth, and the four seasons of the year would no longer occur because a day and a night would be as long as a whole year instead of 24 hours. all this would greatly affect the life of human beings, imals and plants and that would cause worse results than anything imaginable.
