自从学会了拼音，我就越来越爱读书了，也从书中懂得了不少道理……
美国标准石油公司里，有一位小职员名叫阿基勃特。他远行住旅馆的时候，总是在自己签名的下方写上“每桶四元标准石油”字样，在书信及收据上也不例外，签了名，就一定写上那几个字。他因此被同事叫做“每桶四元”，而他真名倒没有人叫了。公司董事长洛克菲勒知道这件事后，大感惊讶地说：“竟有职员如此努力宣扬公司的声誉，我要见见他。”于是邀请阿基勃特一起共进晚餐。
后来，洛克菲勒卸任，阿基勃特成了第二任董事长。
这实在是一件人人都可以做到的事，可在那么大的公司里，只有阿基勃特一个人愉快地坚持着去做了。嘲笑他的人中，肯定有不少才华、能力在他之上的人，可是最后只有他成了董事长。
成功是一种习惯。并不是非得要干一件惊天动地的'大事才能获得成功。2008年7月29日，北京奥运火炬就要在郑州传递，我们要想创建文明城市、争做文明小市民，当然也要从小事做起：不骂人、不打架、不乱扔、不乱画、见人要有礼貌……讲文明、树新风、迎奥运!让我们都悄悄地做好身边的小事，让它成为我们的习惯!

很小的时候，便开始想：怎么做人？怎么做事？殊不知这个问题是许多哲学家、思想家思考了上百年甚至上千年也无法给出正确答案的。那时，我不懂。
很单纯的想象着：每天的每天，和爸爸妈妈、爷爷奶奶围坐在一起，一起吃饭，一起看电视，一起玩游戏，一起听陈旧的收音机发出沙哑的声音。很惬意的生活。
我乖巧一点，不要经常撒娇，看见乞丐给一角钱，不浪费粮食，当个好学生，这样做应该就可以了吧。
以后做事认认真真的，不要三心二意，不要粗心，那样，每一件事都会做得很好。我不会的，问问妈妈、爸爸或者奶奶，他们教我，我就会做事了。做事，应该就是这简单的吧。
后来长大了，发现世界没有我从前想的这么简单。
做人要脚踏实地，但是也不能太过死板；做事不仅仅要用心，更要用脑子。就像《水浒传》中的武大郎，为人忠厚老实，做事任劳任怨，但是却不得善终，被西门庆等人害死；在说《红楼梦》中的王熙凤，尽管做事谨慎小心，但是她自以为是，自作聪明，反倒落了个身败名裂的下场。
我们年纪尚小，可能大人们不会告诉我们如何做人，如何做事，甚至有些大人他们自己也不清楚。但是我们不能因为自己年纪小，就不去在乎，因为良好的习惯要从小养成，而做人与做事也要从小开始培养。
现在正在热播的《家有儿女》中，聪明伶俐的夏雪，憨厚可爱的夏雨，古灵精怪的刘星，都给我们留下了深刻的印象。他们推翻了小孩只是“乖乖女”或者“书呆子”的形象；颠覆了大人们心中小孩什么也不懂，没有自己的思想的看法。
这也给了我们一个提示：孩子也能当家作主！
就一这个观念来说，作为21世纪的小主人，我们首先要学会做人。
做人，我们要既要学会武大郎的忠厚老实，也要学会王熙凤的灵活善变；不能太过老实，也不能太过圆滑。
做人，我们要像茶花女一样善良，但是不能像她一样悲观；要像保尔·柯察金一样刚毅，但是不能像他一样冲动……
其实，我们的生活中也有许多例子。
做人是一门深奥的学问，做事也一样。
如果，单纯的以为，做事只要用心用力就好，那就大错特错了。
是的，做事是要用心，但是力就不一定了，当然也不排除在外。但是，这些都只是前提，更重要的是技巧。
“事半功倍”和“事倍功半”两个词语，字完全相同，而意思却完全相反，它们字面上的差别，只是“半”和“倍”的位子调动了一下。
要是做事不讲究技巧，只知道蛮干，就算你投入了再大的力量，也还是收入甚微；但是如果你知道技巧，做起来既省力又可以得到好处。
刘备戎马一生，最后却为他人作嫁；屈原忠心为国，冒死相荐，君主不但没有理会，结果落得投河自尽的下场。
他们所做，皆是为国为民，为何会这样？那就要看看他们是如何做事。是否掐准了时机。
不管做人与做事，都是要我们自己的去思考，而一些名著中刻画的人物，会是我们参考或者学习的榜样。
