As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

北京的清晨，阳光明媚，秋高气爽。我和爸爸、妈妈就乘车来到颐和园。
从北门进来，不一会儿就看到了长廊。听爸爸说这条长廊有723米，有上千幅画，每一幅画都不相同。上面画着人物和风景，每一幅画都有一个小故事。红色的柱子，绿色的栏杆，伴着我们一直向前走去。
穿过长廊就来到了排云门，从排云门向上看高大雄伟的佛香阁映入眼帘，它那金黄的琉璃瓦闪闪发光。下面一排排的宫殿就是排云殿。
转过身就可以看到昆明湖，还能远远地望见十七孔桥。湖水真静啊!静得像一面镜子，湖水真绿啊!绿得像一块无暇翡翠。湖水真清啊!清的看得见鱼儿在水中嬉水。在湖边还有许多荷花，有的已经绽开笑脸，有的才展开两三片花瓣，有的还是含苞待放，羞羞答答地躲在荷叶后面。
我们来到十七孔桥，它拥有十七个桥洞而得名。在汉白玉的栏杆上雕刻着许多小狮子雕工精美、形态各异，点缀着十七孔桥。
在桥旁边有一只铜牛，望着昆明湖，原来这里有一个传说：在颐和园昆明湖东岸有一个被喻为牛郎化身的镇水铜牛，在西岸有一处被喻为织女化身的耕织图，它们隔着昆明湖遥遥相望，这两个景观的来历也缘于牛郎织女的故事。
我们走出颐和园，我流连忘返，还真想在颐和园多待一会呢。

万里长城的雄伟无人不知。可是，大家有是否曾留意过站在长城上所看到的美景呢？嘿嘿，我就看过！
那是06年的秋天，我的爸妈趁着国庆假期，带我到八达岭长城游玩！
刚到入口，又高又陡的台阶就“出现”在我眼前，让我浑身充满冲劲，一口气冲到了第二个烽火台！
我“扑”到城墙边，不经意地往下望……天啊！这……这也太可爱了吧？！一片宽阔的“树海”呈现在我面前！而且，树的叶子都各有不同的色彩哟！有黄的，有红的，也有绿的……树是那样的茂盛，看不出一丁点儿的“衰老”。一个个树冠“挤”在一块儿，犹如一幅巨大的彩色拼图，美极了！
望向远处那条蜿蜒盘旋在山上的“巨龙”，十分壮观！附近的山都披着橙黄的衣服，还有一些“绿星星”作装饰，仿佛是一个个侍女在“巨龙”身边待命……
抬起头，空中那光芒四射的太阳似乎是一个熊熊燃烧的大火球，傲视着人们，令人不敢直视它！
这样的景色让我深深地陶醉在其中，流连忘返……

中国的首都。中国人心之所在。中国的故宫。中国人心之所在。
故宫始建于公元1406年(永乐四年，1420年(永乐十八年基本竣工，历时14年，而在这十四年的艰苦中，故宫不知经历过了多少场大火，多少场灾难，但是，中国人不怕艰苦，毁了又建，这正是中国人那顽强的意志!
北京故宫，又叫北京博物馆，又名紫禁城，位于北京市中心，旧称紫禁城。故宫号称九千九百九十九间半，相传天上有房屋一万间，天子用来自谦，于是少了半间。是明、清两代的皇宫，是一座无与伦比古代建筑杰作，也是世界现存最大、最完整的木质结构的古建筑群。被誉为世界五大宫之首。还是世界保留最完整的古代建筑群，是中国最多的古代建筑群。今天人们称它为故宫，意为过去的皇宫。
故宫是龙的世界，龙的造型千姿百态，栩栩如生。在我国封建社会里，皇帝被称做“真龙天子”，是大地的主宰。故宫是明、清两朝的皇宫，因此，宫中的殿堂、桥梁、丹陛、石雕以及帝后宝玺、服饰御用品等无不以龙作为纹饰。那么，故宫里到底有多少龙?恐怕谁也说不清。有人粗算过，故宫号称有宫殿8000多间，仅以每殿有6条龙计算，就有龙近4万条，如果加上所有建筑装饰和一切御用品上的龙，那就数不胜数了。

长城是我心中向往已久的地方。今年暑假，妈妈带我去北京玩，我终于可以去登长城了。我们一大早就乘车去长城。在车上，我万分激动！
坐在车上已经看得见长城了。远看，长城像一条巨龙睡在群山之中，弯弯曲曲的，看不见巨龙的首尾。长城真长啊！乘着车，我们来到了长城脚下，抬头一看，长城真高啊，有好几层楼那么高！
我们从黑熊乐园后的入口，开始登长城了。刚开始的时候，我信心十足的和游人一样，登得很快。
当我们登到好汉坡脚下，我的衣服已经汗湿了。抬头看，上面的`城垛好像在我头顶上一样。再看看脚下的坡，就像笔直的天梯直通最高的烽火台。难怪俗话说“不到长城非好汉”。我擦干了脸上的汗，继续向长城最高点登去 我终于登上了长城的最高点。站在最高点向远望去，树木就像小草一样低矮，长城脚下的人像成千上万只小蚂蚁。
长城经历了几千年的风风雨雨，是历史的见证，是古代劳动人民智慧与血汗的结晶。站在最高的烽火台上，我觉得自己就是一个守卫长城的勇士，心里充满了自豪！
