首先，上课的时候，我要认真听讲，不做小动作，不和同学交头接耳，要力争把老师课堂上讲的知识全部消化；对于疑难问题，要不耻下问，虚心向老师和同学请教。
其次，要认真完成老师布置的所有作业，做到一丝不苟。课堂作业当堂完成；课后作业和家庭作业也要按时独立完成。
第三，要做好语文课的课前预。对于预习字词，成语，要先查字典把它认会，弄懂意思；还要学会给课文分段，用最简短的语言写出每段的段落大意，然后总结课文的中心思想；对于每篇课文的课后题，要先试着去做；对于课文和课后题不理解和不会做的地方，要先把它在书上划下来或记下来，第二天上课时带着问题去听讲，还可以在课堂上向老师请教。
第四，要利用星期天和节假日，继续参加奥数、英语，多读课外书，不断丰富自己的知识。要挤出时间，多干事。
总而言之，在新的学期里我要更加努力，争取每门功课都取得好成绩，当一个各方面都很出色的学生。

By the time you read this you will be 30. At the age of 18 I had so many hopes and dreams about where you'd be, what you'd be doing and with whom you'd spend your life with.
Right now I hope that you have traveled and seen everything you've always wanted to, both in Canada and overseas, and maybe even settled down somewhere in Australia doing some research in the field of biology (genetics.
I hope you're married to the man of your dreams. The man of mine is Gwynn. He is originally from South Africa (another place I wish to visit.
You'll probably have two children of your own – a girl(Michaela Anne and a boy (name yet to be decided.If everything goes according to plan you'll be living in Australia in a big house in a small town outside of a big city with a lot of land, a dog, Gwynn and your two beautiful children. Hopefully you have a career in the medical field, maybe doing research in genetics. Gwynn will be a computer programmer and you will be doing alright for yourselves.
However, if things don't go according to plan for you, I wish you all the love, happiness and joy in the world and don't settle for anything less than the best since that is absolutely what you deserve.
Live long, be happy and live life to it's fullest.

阴似箭，一眨眼，我们又迎来了一个新的学期。在新学期中，我要全力以赴搞好学习，争取成为“好学生”。为了达到这个目标，我采取如下措施：首先，我要把精力全部投放到学习上。做到生活快节奏，多紧出时间用来学习;课上高效率，当堂接受、消化老师所讲的内容;课后勤复习，勤做练习题，把知识灵活运用。在勤学的基础上，我还要摆正课堂与课外、勤学与好问、记忆与理解、复习与预习、学习与运用的关系，在这个前提下，找出符合各科特点的学习方法。我想，只要既肯学又会学，我一定能在学习上有一个大的飞跃。
瞄准新目标，争取夺得好成绩。
新的学期，是新的学习生活的开始，是又一次的竞争的起点，我要瞄准新的目标，敢于拼搏，奋力冲刺。
在学习方面，坚持高标准严要求，争取名列前茅。上课做到口到、心到、眼到、手到。课后及时复习当天老师讲解的要点，达到“温故而知新”，举一反三的目的。课余时间多看文学名着，勤读苦思，既要把一本厚书读薄，领略书中的精神实质，又要把一本薄书读厚，展开联想，为我所用。通过阅读，提高文学修养，尤其是丰富自己的语言。我知道必须踏实虚心，来不得半点虚假，因此要老老实实，勤勤恳恳，有不懂的问题就请教老师和同学，不留一个疑点。在纪律方面，作为班长，既要严于律已，又要严于待人。

老师让我们写“我的打算”这篇作文，我想了又想，终于拿起笔写了起来。
我打算把学习给提上去，因为这样爸爸，妈妈才不会为我的学习而感到烦恼和头痛。我也不会上课开小差，我会认真去思考老师提出的每一题，用心地去回答，答错了，没关系，还有下一题。
