小说人物身上所表现出来的精神，都深深地震撼了我、感染了我，每个形象都栩栩如生地印刻在我心中。其中，我最敬佩和喜爱的人物是工程师史密斯。他见多识广，知识渊博，真的是上知天文、下知地理，简直就是“智多星”下凡。而且，他还有一身的好本领，心灵手巧得简直像天神一般，能够利用岛上的一切资源，发明出陶器、火药、砖块、玻璃、电池……他还是勇敢的化身和天生的领导者，在他的指挥下建设了一个海上的“亚特兰蒂斯”，那是一片“充满智慧”的岛屿，也是一片与世隔绝的世外桃源啊！
