我一字一句地仔细阅读时，仿佛和高尔基在一起读书。他读得那么专心，把世界上的一切都忘记了。读到这里，我情不自禁想起了自己以前读书的情景。每当父母给我买回新书或自己借到一本书，我就如鱼得水，总是迫不及待地阅读。我虽然爱看书，但从中得到的收获却极少。为什么呢？高尔基如饥似渴地读书，忘记了一切，自己与之相比较，我只是看热闹，反注意了一些主要的故事情节，从来不曾写读书笔记；也不曾体会文章的内涵；更未注意过他人作品、文章写作的好方法等。又因看的书多，且都是走马观花，囫囵吞枣，所以看罢即忘，收益浅。我想高尔基所以能成为世界文豪，与他从小那求知若渴、专心致志的读书精神是分不开的。同时，高尔基认真读书的态度，不反反教育了我做任何事都要具有认真的态度。
粗心乃失败的根源，认真是成功之秘诀。我是深有体会的。记得我在这学期数学期中考试时，十分失败，其原因就是――粗心。较难的题，一分未扣，而较简单的一道填空题，由于在草稿纸上是根号5，却因看错把根号5写成根号3，被扣去两分，这难道是我不会吗？唉，粗心使我屡次失败，我怀疑，它难道是我的影子，总与我相伴吗？可今天，我看到高尔基读书忘了一切，而抛开粗心的唯一办法，就是与认真交朋友，对，终于悟出，粗心并非与我相随，不是总与我结交为友。而今只有甩掉它，放弃它才会通向成功之路待任何事情都要持认真的态度。
今天，我细细阅读了《高尔基的童年》后，对"粗心乃失败的根源，认真是成功之秘诀"这句话更坚信不疑了。

我看完了林海音著作的《城南旧事》，《城南旧事》里人物有：英子(林海音的小名、骆驼队的领队、惠安馆的疯子——秀贞、爸爸、妈妈、宋妈、英子的好朋友——妞儿、藏在草堆里的小偷、不理小孩子的德先叔、斜着嘴笑的兰姨娘……
这些人都陪过书中的小主人公——英子在一起，在看第一章的时候，作者介绍了骆驼，它们的神态、细嚼慢咽的动作，个个都描写得活灵活现，让人似乎身临其境；第二章讲了好几个人，宋妈、妞儿和疯子——秀贞，在惠安馆里，开始作者还以为秀贞是和她玩“过家家”，后来英子把她那块很漂亮的表送给了秀贞；英子记得，秀贞跟她说过，小桂子(就是秀贞的孩子脖子后头正中间有一块青色的胎记，而妞儿的脖子后边正中间也有一块胎记，于是，英子带着妞儿去找秀贞，秀贞立马带着妞儿赶火车去了；因为那天下着倾盆大雨，英子发高烧，昏迷了十天。
第三章的题目很有趣，是：“我们看海去。”这是一个小偷儿跟英子说的，虽然我不喜欢偷东西的小偷，但是不知为什么，似乎是林海音的语言打动了我，我觉得这个小偷很好玩，很可怜，看到他被人家抓到的时候，好像一只老鹰在欺负一只小鸡，而且还要听着周围人的骂声。第四章题目就很明显了，题目是：“兰姨娘。”这章里讲的是德先叔和兰姨娘，德先叔是一个大学生，因为那时候要枪毙大学生，于是躲到了英子家里来；后来兰姨娘也来了，雇她的人家不要她了；后来，兰姨娘和德先叔一起走了。
第五章的题目也很新颖，是：“驴打滚儿。”刚看到这个题目的时候，我还以为林海音要写驴怎样打滚儿的。结果不是；内容主要是，宋妈的小栓子死了，小丫头子不见了，宋妈很伤心，宋妈和英子在找小丫头子歇息的时候，看见有人买一种叫：“驴打滚儿”的吃的，那是把黄米面煮熟了，里面包黑糖，再在绿豆粉里滚一滚，很香；找不到小丫头子了，宋妈就骑着驴走了。
最后一章，题目让觉得有些伤感：“爸爸的花儿落了。”没错，英子的爸爸去世了，爸爸的石榴掉了，花儿也落了。
《城南旧事》一本很好的书，悲悲喜喜，快快乐乐，都在这本书里展现了，从喜到悲，这本书让我们体验到了生活中的悲欢离合，是一本你看完了放不下、还要看一遍的书。
