I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to my parents for teaching me to be positive and to be strong. “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” is the opinion held by Aristotle. It is the experience of our forefathers, however, it is correct even today, including my parenting.
It is widely acknowledged that parenting, which can also be explained as family education, is of great significance in our character forming and manner acquiring. To be more detailed, setting good examples instead of just giving precepts is the greatest achievement of my parents. All those things require huge amount of time and work, but it’s worth it.

看着同学们都被自己的爸爸妈妈接走，心里别提多羡慕了。就在这时我的耳边响起了慈祥的声音：“李卓”。我透过雨帘看到了爷爷慈爱的身影，只见爷爷穿着黑雨衣，可那件短小的雨衣根本挡不住那成串的雨滴。我连忙跑过说：“爷爷路怎么滑，您怎么来了。”爷爷边把事先准备好的雨伞递给我边说“你爸爸和妈妈都出去玩了，我不来谁来呀！快别说了，看一会雨就下大了，我们快走吧。”
在路上我的伞被风吹掉了，爷爷索性把伞收起来，把自己身上的雨衣脱下来给我穿，豆大的雨串霹雳啪啦打在了爷爷的身上。过了会我发现车子在颤动，我正觉得奇怪，我猛然发现是爷爷冻的在发抖，我几次要求把雨衣还给爷爷，可爷爷总说：“不碍事的。”。可爷爷还是竭尽全力地往家骑，我一下把爷爷抱住，我在心里说了一声：“爷爷，我爱你。”
到了家，爷爷从里到外都湿透了，奶奶赶忙拿来毛巾给我擦，我连忙说：“快给爷爷擦吧。”爷爷奶奶欣慰地望着我笑了，我也幸福的笑了起来。
我的亲人把一切的爱都给了我，我为我有这样的亲人感到骄傲和自豪。
