《为你自己工作》这本书正如甘露一样滋润着思想观念上久逢干旱的我，工作了一年多，刚工作时候的工作热情正在悄然褪去。看透了世态炎凉，觉得努力工作，结果却适得其反。所谓错的多就错的多，引来的是更多的责备和不安，看了此书后，却发现我的想法却大错特错，因为我明显忽略了有了高度的责任心，才有了神圣的使命感，才会充分发挥自己的主观能动性，才会挖掘自己的最大的潜能。
如果我想获得成功，必须树立为自己工作的'观念。因为只有这样，才会觉得工作将永远不在是一种劳役，而是一件美好的事情，会充满热情地去工作，而不是机械地完成任务，我将不在为薪水而工作，而是为实现自己的自我价值而奋斗，我将不会是尽量少做，而是尽力多做，从工作中，我获得的不仅仅是薪水，而是知识和，还会实现我的人生梦想（为病人减少痛苦）。我在为我自己努力，我的品质、我的行为、我的精神，将会为我自己带来最大的收获。
为你自己工作吧！其实，在医院工作，虽然是为病人服务，但作为一名医生，能让自己工作有所价值，拯救病人生命，也是为自己工作，所谓的成就感、自豪感，这一切要自己主宰自己；自己监督自己；自己对自己负责；忠诚是为自己；敬业是为自己；服从是为自己；信用依然是为自己。孩子，记住，这是你的工作！不管病人说什么或做什么，你都要记住做好你的工作，并以应有的礼貌去对待病人。
为你自己工作吧！不要再懒惰、不要再报怨、不要消极、不要怀疑、不要马马虎虎、不要推诿塞责、不要投机取巧。在这个世界上，你做的一切都是为了生存，一切恶习都会成为你生存的障碍，勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之，主观思想决定人的行为，价值观、人生观的改变，会改变你对工作的态度。不要再执迷不悟了，如果你继续揽着恶习不放，抱着得过且过的思想，那将只有一种结果，那就是自己埋葬自己的时间、自己的才华、自己的生命。
所谓心态决定一切，所以今天的我决心用为你自己工作的观念武装自己的头脑，并将之转化为前进的动力，做快乐的自我，做成功的自我。
