我最欣赏的一个人是我爷爷，他有着一个令人敬佩的品德：诚信。
我的爷爷今年七十多岁， 身材魁梧，白苍苍的头发，炯炯有神的眼睛，下巴长满了，岁月还在他的脸上留下一道又一道的皱纹。我的爷爷特别喜欢书法家的各种草书手迹。
有一次，爷爷和一位同乡的老朋友的对话中，意外发现这位老朋友收藏了东晋大书法家王羲之的真迹。爷爷就向这位同乡借，双方谈定还期为一个月后的早上九点。时间一秒一秒的过去了，只差一天就该还书了，爷爷这时可抓紧看书了，就连饭也忘了吃。期限到了，说巧也不巧八点就下起了倾盆大雨，八点四十五分时雨仍“哗哗哗”的下着。爷爷要去还书，我们劝阻爷爷等雨过后再拿去还给这位同乡，可爷爷却说;“诚信是为人之本，我应该做到这一点，如果我没能守时地将这本书集还给他，那他下次就绝不敢再借给我了。”爷爷说完后，小心翼翼地将这本书集包了起来，搂在怀里，撑起雨伞，穿起靴子，向雨中走去……
爷爷是这么的讲信用，居然冒着大雨，赶去还书。在爷爷眼里诚信这两个字是多么重要啊!
感谢您，爷爷，您用行动给我诠释了诚信的含义。今后，我将把“诚信”二字牢记心中，做一个像爷爷一样讲信用的人。
