The two pictures above are both about the relationship between the environment and the economic development. In the first picture, GDP is on the rise while the environment is drastically polluted. In the second picture, economic efficiency progresses with environmental protection. It’s easy to get the conclusion that development according to the second picture is more reasonable than that in the first one.
In the early development of socialism, our country didn’t pay much attention to the issue of environmental protection and savored the bitterness. Now, the government has taken many measures and is implementing the strategy of “sustainable development”. One aspect of the strategy is to develop the economy and take measures to protect the environment at the same time. In this way, we can develop our country in a sustainable manner and our offspring can have enough resources to develop society. 有时候，我会一个人躺在山坡上观察星星，一连观察好几个小时：在星空中，我要找到十二个星座，先找到月亮，再找到射手座、双鱼座、仙女座……再找找其他的星星。有时，我会想：说不定哪天我找到了一个新的星球，然后一举成名呢！所以我就每天找呀找，可惜，就是从晚上七点开始，一直找到夜晚十点，也没找出什么星球来。
但是，星星总是让人那么着迷，因为在城市里灰尘太多，看不见几颗星星，但到了乡下，就满天星空了。我一直认为，每一颗星星都有一个属于它自己的故事，从新生到死亡是多么奇妙的过程啊。有时，我在大白纸上把星星给画出来，可是画多了以后，我也只能在白纸上看见许多小黑点，却不能像星星那样若隐若现。
想象着，想象着，突然一声“十点啦，睡觉啦”的声音把我从幻想中拉醒，原来是外婆喊我睡觉了，我只想赖着不走，还有好多关于星星的问题还没解决呢！但面对婆婆的“碎碎念”，我也只能表示无奈。

She dressed herself in her ballerina costume and managed to evade the guards and hid in the dressing room.

She bravely approached him and handed him a bunch of red roses and in her excitement the thorns pricked her hand but she did not make much ado about the pain.

The leader observed her action as she told him her dream. "Alright, you dance and I will give you my verdict."
