一个初春，冰雪未融，城里大大小小的迎春花点缀在古棕色的枝丫间。一夜的“倒春寒”，就使这些本就不明艳的花骨朵腰折枝断、容貌尽失。
那天，我和奶奶坐车回到我太奶奶家里——一个小平房，在一个小巷子里。太奶奶去世两年了，灰败的小屋内有人住过的痕迹。太奶奶生前的老电视、旧椅子、破棉被悉数放在原位，像一张空旧信封贴上邮票寄到三年前，和我印象中的一切差不多。
粉砌的墙壁轻轻一敲便有成片成片的灰落下来，初春的阳光被冻凝了，但照进来还能看到人一走过飘舞起的灰尘，一本松脆的泛黄的字典放在炕上，上面有被水浸过的痕迹。两年的时光，让土炕即使烧火也热不起来了。
走到后院，一个大蜘蛛网横亘在我眼前。我小心地绕过它，映在眼前的是硬硬的土地。绕过后墙，一些零落的草垛堆在土路上。就在那里，我曾经种了一颗种子。紧走两步，一团小小的黄映入眼睛：一些黑色的砖簇拥着一株小小的.迎春花，仿佛这是天地间唯一的生命，唯一的颜色，使我的心骤然明亮。一株迎春花，那个为它祈愿的小女孩还在吗？三年前我从小村庄再次返回到城市里面时，随手埋下了一颗迎春花的种子。不知何时，这件事在时光与现实生活之间被隐去了——我忘了这件事，或者可以说，我不曾记得这件事。那一株我遗留下的迎春花，它长出了萌芽，长出了嫩苗，开出花来。没有人发现这株花，也没有人在意这株花。我又惊又喜，因为这是我留下的梦想的苗，它如今已经开花。
我没有想那株迎春花是如何长出来的，因为没有人给它浇水，没有人给它施肥，和城里的那些花不同，它孤零零的没人照顾。我在等待，等待我的梦想长出翅膀的那一刻，等待它起飞的那一刻，等待它飞到远方的那一刻……等待着，在春天漫山遍野，姹紫嫣红开遍时，开着那么耀眼的迎春花再度绽放的时候。
