我去过爷爷的田，它位于一条小路旁，所以爷爷要运送肥料和农药，都非常方便。对面还有一条大水沟，不怕没有水，排水非常方便。
我爷爷不仅种田，还在山上种凤梨，荔枝，每年夏天，我和弟弟总能大吃一顿。我们每天都希望凤梨和荔枝成熟。爷爷非常疼我们，常常会给我们一些零用钱，让我们去买吃的。爷爷对于稻子也是非常关心，记得有一次风刮的大，雨也呱呱地下，爷爷半夜冒着雨，跑到田里去，生怕雨水让稻子受到伤害。还有一次，因为太久没下雨，爷爷从下午七点多便去田里“顾田水”，生怕别人把水引到别处去，稻子没有水会枯死。所以他一直守在那里。

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the side of the bed.
On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the light at two o'clock,and most of them are awake by six o'clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At about one o'clock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

春风又在敲打着我的窗户，我坐在门前的大树下，翻起了尘封已久的相册，那张泛黄的旧照片依旧安然的躺在里面，那两个流着眼泪但仍然挂着天真的笑的女孩。
不知道是什么原因，缘分把我们的妈妈拉在了一起，又让我们成为了朋友。那时候，我们经常一起玩耍。一次你来我家，妈妈正在洗衣服，一缕薰衣草的香味溜进了我们的小鼻子，从此便爱上了这个味道，喜欢上了图片上薰衣草那迷人的紫色。
为了把这味道留住，我想尽了千方百计，都是竹篮打水—一场空。你却指挥我去拿一个小玻璃瓶。你用你那两只水灵灵的大眼睛看着我，我像被蛊惑了，拿来了瓶子。你小心翼翼地把妈妈的洗衣液装进了瓶子里。“这样就可以走到哪里就把想起带到哪里了。”你两眼弯成一条缝对我说。我不服气，灵机一动来了新点子。我把洗衣液倒进了有水的小水盆里，把衣服泡在了里面。“哈哈，这样方便吧？”我得瑟的看了看你，你也只是微微的向我一笑。兴奋地把外套扔在了里面。以后我们经常这样，走到哪里都带着这股香气。
可这种快乐的保质期并不长久，你要随父母去外地生活了，原本不爱流眼泪的我，此时的眼泪却不听了使唤，吧嗒吧嗒的掉了下来。你拉着我又像平常一样去拥抱门前那棵大树，即使我们的手臂加起来也抱不住。
“你什么时候回来啊？”“等你的胳膊长到可以抱住一半大树的时候，我就回来和你一起抱着棵大树，好不好？”“好，一言为定，不许撒谎啊。”“嗯，拉钩钩。”“拉钩上吊一百年不许变。”
童稚的声音在风中飘荡着。“来来来，又不是什么生离死别，笑一笑，说茄子！”爸爸拿着相机对沮丧的我们说，留下了一张纪念的照片。
如今，我可以抱住门前那位如沧桑老人般的大树了，你怎么还没回来呢？我还是喜欢薰衣草那迷人的紫色，那股淡淡的清香，为的是提醒自己，不能忘了你，那个在我记忆里留下脚印，留下笑容，留下香气的你。我多麽希望有一天，走在街上，能闻到那久违了的熟悉的香气，看到那常常带着笑容的面孔。

仍记得那时，那个远房亲戚领着小孙女来时，幼小的我特别吃惊。六十多岁仍穿着长裙戴着项链，皮肤白皙长发飘飘，笑意冉冉袅娜多姿，与一身农村装束，佝偻着身子站在一旁的她形成鲜明对比。我望着徐徐的炊烟，心情陷入无限的阴霾，嘟囔说：“为什么，人家的奶奶那么漂亮！我也要一个漂亮的奶奶！”她听见了，不说话，只是不断绞着手，紧紧攥着围裙。
慢慢的，随着年龄的增长，我不再像个假小子一样出去疯一天了，我的心思变得细腻，也学着开始观察身边的她，她的一举一动。晨曦，她伴着薄雾醒来，带着套袖从草垛上抱下一捆捆的稻草烧火做饭，烟雾缭绕；骄阳，她熟练的擀着饺子皮，心里想着要给不爱吃韭菜的我多做些白菜馅的饺子；落日，她把剥下来的菜叶剁碎喂给咕咕叫的母鸡，笑着从窝里取出鸡蛋给我攒着……这些事，她天天重复，我竟也稍稍懂得，原来，她是如此的辛劳。
关上灯，当她终于可以结束一天的忙碌休息时，我抚摸着她龟裂的手感慨万千，如此粗糙，饱经风霜。她的胳膊干瘦，没有什么肉，隔着一层皮肤好像就能触到骨头，我深深的感受到了她是如何年复一年的操劳，如何抚养父亲和两个姑姑长大，接着再抚养我的艰辛。
谈及我的童年，她只是说，小时候的我，可不听话了，无论是隆冬还是骄阳，她也必须抱着我在外面到处走，她的脸和手都是皲的，我却只知道用我的一只小脏手拽着她的衣袖，另一只就胡乱指一个方向，她若不抱我去，我便大声哭闹。她自己顾不上吃饭，一刻也不能休息，喂我饭，我却怎么也不吃，含在嘴里或者吐掉。邻居家的青年笑着问她如果有人给她钱，让她看管我这样的孩子怎么样？她摆摆手说：“一个孩子就够我受了，多少钱我也不干，太累了！”，接着，便是一阵笑声。听着她轻松的说，于我却是一阵压抑……不觉，我泪眼朦胧，原来我所认为的她的不美丽，她的苍老是岁月带来的啊，是爱这个家、为了照顾这个家才变成这样的，我又如何能说这样的她，相比于那个打扮光鲜的亲戚不美丽一千倍、一万倍呢！
当第一缕阳光洒在窗口时，她照例早早起来做饭，我佯装熟睡，待她转过头去忙碌，偷偷的.看她，她穿的依旧是那件旧衣服，可我却觉得她是如此的美丽！
风姿绰约固然美，可为爱操劳带来的苍老也是一种美！就像您一样，我亲爱的奶奶！
