The Role of Mobile Phone in People's Communication
The popularity of smartphones has exerted great influence on the way people communicate, so much so that an increasing number of individuals contend that face-to-face communication is being replaced by texts and images on the mobile phone.
There are more than one angle to consider this phenomenon. On one hand, it is pleasantly acknowledged that smartphones shorten the distance between families and friends. Even people from different sides of the globe can share pictures, feelings and thoughts through various types of apps on the phone, thus building a long-distance connection. On the other hand, as the picture warns us, too much smartphone addiction interferes with people's real-life communication. Statistics show that over 70 percent of face-to-face communication consists of facial expressions and body language, which is why people should stay away from mobile phones when they have the chance to actually talk and communicate with others.
In a word, mobile phones act as an appropriate platform where people can always stay in tough however long the distance is, but a wise man should know when to put down his phone.

春天， 万物复苏，小河水哗哗地顺流而下； 活泼机灵的小鸟们在枝头喳喳地纵情歌唱； 小草们神不知鬼不觉地从地下探出了脑袋，大地换上了绿色的新衣； 小野花们争先恐后地展示着自己的美丽； 一棵棵大树好像正在返老还童， 抽出嫩黄色的新芽；。年迈的`凤凰木也紧跟着春天的步伐， 吐出米粒大小的嫩叶， 就像刚出生的婴儿那般娇嫩。
夏天，太阳像一个火炉似地炙烤着地面。凤凰木的叶子早已变成了深绿色，枝条也向四周扩展了许多，变成了一把绿色的大伞。当太阳透过茂密的树叶筛下一束束金光时， 美丽的凤凰花绽开了一张张笑脸，好像给凤凰木披上了红色的霞衣。
秋天，凤凰树的叶子慢慢地变成了金黄色，在微风吹拂下纷纷飘落下来， 给地面铺上了一层厚厚的金色地毯。课间十分钟，我和小伙伴们在凤凰树下尽情地玩耍、嬉闹，甭提有多高兴了。
冬天，刺骨的寒风从耳边呼呼地刮过，古老的凤凰木褪去了繁华，仿佛一个弯着腰、知识渊博的老学者，正在讲述着她一百多年来的沧桑岁月， 并勉励我们克服各种困难、勤奋学习，成为对国家有贡献的人才。
这就是我们百年老校的百年古树---凤凰木。

Dear all,
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to my parents for teaching me to be positive and to be strong. “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” is the opinion held by Aristotle. It is the experience of our forefathers, however, it is correct even today, including my parenting.
It is widely acknowledged that parenting, which can also be explained as family education, is of great significance in our character forming and manner acquiring. To be more detailed, setting good examples instead of just giving precepts is the greatest achievement of my parents. They not only taught me to think for the best and prepare for the worst; they taught me how. They not only told me the benefits of being strong in mind; they proved it. All those things require huge amount of time and work, but it’s worth it.
Without my parents’ contribution and education, I would never be who I am now. But most importantly, I would never be more gratitude to them than today.

今天，我们返校，我心里特别紧张，因为我知道老师要宣布分数了，我怕自己考不好，爸爸安慰我说：“不要紧张，你考的再差，爸爸也不会怪你，考66也没事，六六大顺嘛！怕什么！”我笑了，心里轻松了许多。
到了学校，语文老师开始念分了，我的心就像一只要被吃掉的小兔子一样惊恐不安，我的耳朵要贴到老师的嘴巴上了，终于听到了：李子嘉98·5！我松了一口气，但是老师还说我考的不如老师想象的那样棒。我心里暗下决心，下次一定不让老师失望！
这时数学老师来了，我心里默默祈祷考100，老师居然脱口而出：李子嘉100！那声音简直能与百鸟动听的相比，能赛过动人的音乐，我心中的大石头终于落地了！
我心里特别激动，恨不得生出翅膀赶快飞到爸爸妈妈那里，早点让他们知道这个喜讯，他们会多高兴呀！

今天早上，当我看到老师拿着上星期我们的试卷走进教室时，我心里忐忑不安，心里正想着：会考多少分呢？要是考不好怎么办？不，一定会考得好的，我在心里自己安慰自己。突然，我听到老师叫道：“徐世新。”我一听，心像揣着一只兔子似的“砰砰”跳着。我满怀信心地跑上了讲台。
当看到我的试卷上的分数时，我惊呆了！竟然才65分。我伤心到了极点，“怎么会没有考好呢？是不是老师改错了？”我来来回回的看着自己的考卷，千方百计的想找出可以给自己加分的地方，可是，找了半天也没有找到，只发现自己没有考好是因为有很多地方都是因为错别字被扣的分。
下课了，我心里幻想着：是不是很多同学也像我一样考不好呢？于是，我小心翼翼地问同学：“你考多少分？”同学说：“80分。”我心想：不是吧！难道其他同学的分数都比我的分数高？我一脸羞愧地从同学身边悄悄地走开了。
我暗下决心：以后一定要把写错别字的毛病改掉。认真的学习，争取考出一个好的成绩。

以前在电视里看《西游记》时，看到孙悟空会七十二变，想不到今天我也会了。
我变成了一条富有魔法的精灵鱼，只要我在水中游动一次，不管多么污浊的河水，瞬间就会变得清澈见底。不信？请跟我来吧！奶奶家附近有一条小河，以前这里的河水十分清澈，可是现在人们随意往河里扔垃圾，工厂任意往河里排废水，导致河水恶臭无比。即使你在离河岸很远的地方，也无法承受这种味道。此时只见我跃入水中，所过之处河水不在污浊，垃圾也神奇般地消失了，两岸树木也变得非常苍翠。
我还会变成一滴滴雨水，自天而降，滋润万物生机勃勃。我降临到旱灾严重的地方，给予它们宝贵的水资源，同时我用雨点降落时的声音作为密码，告诉人们以后如何不再发生这种灾害。悄悄告诉你，我说的是：请你们节约使用每一滴水，多植绿树，减少二氧化碳的排放，使天空变得洁净，以后我就会常来光临这美丽的`地方。
我又变成了一棵高大的树，屹立在城市中，一边帮大家绿化环境，一边提醒过往的人：小河在哭泣，森林在呐喊，地球在呼唤……不要再为了眼前的利益，破坏我们美丽的家园。请从自己做起，不要再随手丢弃垃圾，不要再随意砍伐树木，不要再用一次性方便袋。
叮铃铃，刺耳的闹钟铃声把我从睡梦中惊醒，同时传来妈妈的声音：“快起床了，再睡就该迟到了。”啊？……
