这本书带领我进行了一次激动人心的、深刻的精神之旅。人们出于情感的原因选择教师这个职业,他们深爱着自己的学生和课程。但是,教学上的种种要求却常常使得许多教师感到激情消退以致于无力教学。我们能不能也像一些优秀的老师那样,把爱献给孩子们,用心来教,为我们的教学注入鲜活的情感?

终于,有了小小的收获,然成功的喜悦尚未遍及全身,便发现自己早已因此疲惫不堪,只不过成功之前是处于高度兴奋状态而未觉着累而已;倘若拼搏、抗争、奋斗失败,那更懊恼不已,觉着自己没有功劳连苦劳也忽略不计了。于是忍不住感叹:人是多么渺小,以人个体之柔弱真的根本无法和那些看不见的、又无处不在的力量抗衡。感叹过后,很多人会选择再战,当然也有人会选择逃避,丧失斗志,从此消沉。

《教学勇气》这本书就像陈年酿酒,是越读越香醇。这也是一本具有开创性的书,能带领教育者们,对教学生涯进行永无止境的探索。

这本书适合这些教师:他们体验过快乐和痛苦的时日,而且其痛苦时日承受的煎熬仅仅源自其所爱;本书适合这些教师:他们不愿意把自己的心肠变硬,因为他们热爱学生、热爱学习、热爱教学生涯。”教师、和教师相关的人,以及任何关心教育的人都应该读这本书。

在教学理念上,“可以把教学和教育的所有规律性都机械地运用到他身上的那种抽象的学生是不存在的”。一语中的,有的学生对教材的理解和记忆快,同时在记忆中保持的长而牢固;而有些学生就完全不同:对教材的感知很慢,知识在记忆中保持的不久而且不牢固。这就需要我们在教学过程中能区别的对待每一位学生,新东方优能中学个性化宣传的教学理念就是“优能个性化,万人万教材。”其中的万人万教材便是践行区别教学的理念。

在教学方式上,书中建议“使知识‘活起来’,通过理解、弄懂大量的事实、事物和现象以后再进行识记。不要让学生去记诵那些还不理解、没有完全弄懂的东西,一定要经过实际作业,而完成实际作业就正是掌握知识。”我非常赞同作者的这个观点。学生容易盲目记忆单词、短语和句型,从来没想过要应用在日常口语或写作当中。以至于所有的背诵记忆的东西貌似只是为了考试而服务。不仅对考试帮助不大,还抹***了他们对英语的兴趣,得不偿失。

所以在英语教学中,除作业外,要给学生介绍大量的词汇应用情景,让他们理解之后模仿,真正掌握之后比让孩子死记硬背效果要好许多。虽然掌握知识是最终目的,但是获取新知识的途径也同样重要,否则不恰当的学习方式,费时费力还得不到想要的结果。在应试教育的强压下,有效快速地帮助学员掌握知识点是我和优能个性化同仁共同的目标。
