剪报的趣味，在于用。日积月累，我已经收集了好多剪报。他像成了我的百宝箱，一打开就能派上用场。记得有一次，老师让我们写一篇有关某位科学家成功的报导。我收集了有关的资料，但还是觉得无从下手。回家之后，我又翻起了心爱的剪报，在“名人名言”里我看到了一个伟人的名言：“在科学的道路上没有什么坦途可走，只有那些不畏艰难、崎岖、勇于攀登的人，才有希望到达光辉的定点。”噢，太好了，我像是突然顿悟似的，灵光一闪，便立刻提起笔写上了“勇攀高峰”四字作为题目，用那句名言作为题记，在中又用了三个小标题：“攀登”、“攀登”、“再攀登”。老师在评语中写道：“一句名言，三个小标题都用得恰到好处。”看了老师的评语，我笑了，我知道这应该归功于我的剪报。
剪报丰富了我的课余活动，增长了我的知识，陶冶了我的情操：剪报啊，其乐无穷。

As students, we often take examinations at school, but sometimes we have too many examinations which are too difficult for us. On the other hand, some of us are lazy and don’t work hard at their lessons. So when taking examinations, they sometimes cheat in order to get better results to please their parents and teachers.
In my opinion, it is wrong to cheat in examinations because it breaks the rules of schools. We students should be honest and try to get good results by studying hard instead of cheating in examinations. What’s more, we should improve our study methods and get well prepared for examinations.

你可别觉得简单，剪报可是救了很多东西的！一天，我上楼时，发现了许多蛞蝓！黏糊糊的，跟鼻涕一样恶心。我飞快地跑回去，开始翻剪报。咦？剪报上说可以用盐！这不是对付蜗牛的方法吗？管他三七二十一，豁出去了！死马当活马医！我拿了点盐，一撒。好了，收工!第二天来看，果然没了。为什么蛞蝓怕盐呢？原来蛞蝓和蜗牛的身体结构差不多，所以蛞蝓是怕盐怕得要死呀！
可能你会说，一个例子证明不了什么。别急，还有例子。
一次我在剪报上看到花不能离电视太近。我没看为什么，实验才是硬道理！我去借了盆野花，放在电视旁边。我翘首盼望它不谢。而每天电视照看不误。过了几个月，花、花居然谢了，还是谢了！怎么办？我马上翻剪报，发现是电视会产生辐射，尽管这已经被电视中的一个部件吸收了绝大部分，但还是有一些溜了出来。这部分逃兵对人体无害处，但对花、草有缺铁的危险，不过只用将含铁的水浇灌，这些花草立刻容光焕发。我试了试，还行，至少没死。
