在混凝土搭成的高大建筑物中，我们过着物资充裕的惬意生活。没有人敢说它是无用之物，可恰恰是它把我们囚禁在了几十平方米的土地上，寸步难离。
而在除夕夜，我们可以看着绚丽的烟花绽放在空中，散发在夜里，但也仅限于观赏罢了，既摸不着，甚至还污染大气，这样说来，烟花的确无用。还有挂在家门口的大灯笼，很少人会认真主意它，若非除夕夜，想来我也不会瞥它一眼，它也的确无用。可我们仍不会割舍掉这些“无用之物”，因为看似无实际用处，却于无形中营造了节日的氛围，让我们感受到了年味，它们是节日的盛装啊。
我很难想象少了灯笼与烟花点缀的春节是一幅怎么样的情景，我也很难想象摒弃所有无用之物之后的世界会是怎样不堪的场景。
一张纸和一支笔给我们的生活会带来多大的用处，我们无法准确评估，但是，用它写出来的诗文歌赋却能几百几千年地感召着世人的心灵，影响着一代又一代人的文化心理。然而时至今日，曾奉为经典的传统文学却被视为多余之物，顶多供附庸风雅的人卖弄风雅之用。生活中，有太多这样的无用之物因为不能带来实惠而被摒弃，我们都过分追求某些有实在用处的东西了，不能不说，这是我们的短浅目光在作祟。
颜回能在一箪食、一瓢饮中乐享大道，为“无用之物”穷困潦倒而不以为苦。我们达不到颜回那样的境界，但可以保持对精神的追求，不为“有用之物”迷了眼。
“无用之物”，很多时候，能消除我们灵魂的尘埃。而看似有用的有用之物不过是方便和帮助我们完成某件事情的工具，那些看似无用之物虽不能给予我们多大的具体的帮助，但它们却能深刻影响我们的内心。想象一下，你可以在余暇时吟诗怡情，悲伤时写文遣怀，更可以来上一场评茶论文，岂不快哉！
我看到的无用之物，犹如青山白水缭绕我的心间。
