这本书讲了桑桑小学生涯中的同学们的故事，他们分别是家里***的杜小康、失去双亲由外婆带大的纸月、被从亲人那里领回来的细马、被人嘲笑的秃头的秃鹤、桑桑的老师温幼菊，他们之间发生了许多故事：杜小康家***是因为朱小鼓的爸爸朱一世揭发杜小康家的酱油掺了水、温幼菊的房子被称为药寮是因为温幼菊经常烧药，经常冒出烟来，这些故事中让我印象最深刻的是：
一次，纸月生病好了之后，照常去上学，但是纸月经常迟到，这一次，她迟到了1节课，桑桑决心搞清楚。第二天，桑桑起的很早，对母亲说：“昨天晚上有一只鸽子没回来，怕是被鹰扇伤了翅膀。”桑桑出了家门就往板仓（纸月住的地方）跑，等他下了船，看见了三个小孩，桑桑听父亲说过，板仓小学有专门欺负纸月的人，其中一个外号叫阔嘴大茶壶，还有两个跟屁虫，一个叫周德发，一个叫吴天衡，桑桑心想，这应该就是阔嘴大茶壶他们了，不一会，纸月过来了，她绕开了刘一水（阔嘴大茶壶）他们，在坑坑洼洼的麦地里走，刘一水他们唱起了儿歌，就在纸月快要上大堤的时候，刘一水他们向纸月跑去，桑桑喊：“纸月，往我这跑！”纸月看到了桑桑，跑了过来，桑桑一手拿着半截砖头，刘一水走了过来了，问：“你是谁？”“我是桑桑！”桑桑说，“桑桑是什么东西？”刘一水说，桑桑对刘一水他们喊：“别过来，不然我就要扔了啊！”刘一水说：“你扔不准。”桑桑说，：“我扔的准，我想打你的左眼，就打你的左眼，绝不会打到你的右眼上！”桑桑突然扔出了一块砖头，没打中，不过把他们吓了一跳，桑桑趁着这个时候，跑到船上，刘一水他们立刻跑了过来，桑桑又扔出了另一块砖头，这回砸到了吴天衡脚上，不过刘一水已经跳到了船上，和桑桑在船舱里打了起来，只用了一拳就把桑桑的鼻血打了出来，后来，桑桑用大头一撞，把刘一水撞到水里。这个故事让我深刻的同时，也是我搞不清楚他们为什么要无缘无故的欺负纸月？为什么老师的`警告成为了耳边风？
这本书告诉我们要珍惜现在的时光，在桑桑的小学生涯中，这些故事是这么的有趣，可是桑桑上了中学，就要跟随父亲去外地上学，再也见不到纸月、杜小康、秃鹤、细马、温幼菊、蒋一轮、白雀……我们也要珍惜小学的时光！

I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

《草房子》这个故事是由9个小故事组成，这里写的一切是油麻地这个地方和桑桑这个小主人公有关。故事的一切都围绕着他们展开。桑桑是一个聪明伶俐，活泼好动的小男骇。在他六年的小学生涯中，做的好事多不胜数，但是闯的祸也不少。
《草房子》这个故事告诉我们自己的一生不是全部一帆风顺的，也不是全部布满了酸甜苦辣，苦难和幸福犹如白昼和黑夜一样，永远与我们相伴，当苦难来临的时候，我们不能逃避，要满怀期望，微笑着往面对。

故事讲述了主人公桑桑跟随父亲来到油麻地接管油麻地小学期间，令他刻骨铭心、终身难忘的小学六年生活。在这里，他经历了许多从来没有经历过的事情，也明白了许多发人深省的哲理。亲眼目睹甚至是亲生经历了一连串感人肺腑、撼动人心的故事：他和纸月之间毫无瑕疵、干净透明的感情；不幸少年杜小康与厄运作斗争的悲凉与勇敢；残疾男孩细马的善良内心和他对尊严的执着坚持；秦大奶奶在生命的最后一瞬间所闪耀的人性光辉。在死亡的体验中，桑桑对生命深切而唯美的领悟，大人们之间剪不断、理还乱担忧充满诗情画意的情感纠葛……这一切的一切，都在桑桑幼小而简单纯真的心灵里印下了深刻的烙印。
这本书留给我印象最深德尔，并非是某一个人物，也不是某一件事情，而是每一个油麻地孩子的纯洁心灵和正直性格。他们可以开怀的笑，同样也可以纵情的哭，他们可以了无牵挂的疯玩，可以什么都不在乎，在他们的心中永远都装满了甜蜜美好的事物。他们就像是纯洁的天使，在油麻地这片宁静的天空尽情飞翔。
坦白说，我很向往自己能够像他们一样，生活的那么轻松，那么无忧无虑。但在现在这充满竞争、充满压力的社会，我们得到的一切都是自己靠双手争取来的，又怎会轻易放弃呢？我们整天都活在压力中，整天为生计苦恼，为事业烦心，根本没有时间放松，更别说抛弃一切了。
也许震中方法不适合我们，也不明智，但我想，大家至少可以在心里保留一座草房子，一座简简单单、干干净净、并且只属于自己的草房子。累的时候就在里面小憩，让他成为你温暖的港湾，让你紧张的心得到释缓。
如果有这样一天，我希望自己能像油麻地的那些孩子一样，不管将来改变什么，心中的纯真透明都不会变，永远都在心里保留着那一座最简单的草房子。
