斑马一家人生活在广袤的非洲大草原上，他们一家人总是相亲相爱，团结一致。有敌人来袭击，大斑马们就会围成一圈把小斑马保护起来。
有一天，小斑马因为犯了错误而被妈妈狠狠地训了一顿，听话的小斑马只会生闷气，也不敢顶嘴，憋了一肚子气，最后一气之下离家出走了，一个人跑到很远的地方。
天色渐渐地暗了下来，夜幕就要降临了。但是小斑马因为穿着黑白条纹的漂亮衣服而格外显眼，果然，他被一只狮子盯上了，狮子开始狂追小斑马，小斑马惊恐万分地奔跑着，因为年龄小，跑的当然没有狮子快了!
就在小斑马快要被狮子追上的时候，一只矫健的羚羊冲了出来，迅速把小斑马拽到自己背上，飞快地奔向远方，把狮子远远地甩在了后面。
最后，羚羊把小斑马送回了家，因为羚羊叔叔是斑马爸爸的好朋友，他经常过去斑马家做客呢。
回到家以后，焦急万分的斑马妈妈一把把小斑马搂在怀里，心疼地说：你这个傻孩子，以后不能生闷气啊，心里不管有什么话一定要说出来，妈妈会耐心听你讲的，不会再生气了!小斑马听了之后咯咯地笑着说：知道啦妈妈。
