I’d like to go to a beautiful place. I think it would be Beijing. Beijing is not only our capital city, but also a famous city with long history and wonderful culture. Beijing is also China’s political and cultural center. There’re many old places of great interest, such as the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and Square. Once you see Square, you will think of Beijing. It has been the symbol of Beijing since 1949.

On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

坐在窗边，望着窗外灰蒙蒙的天空，心里十分压抑。“唉……”又传来我的叹息声，这样的天气，不管叹息多少次都无法缓解自己的心情。家里的空气闷闷的，可是，这么大的雾霾，就连开窗通风都不敢。我托着下巴，努力回想几年前北京没有雾霾的时候，记忆却好像被这雾霾蒙盖住了，一切的美好，也只能自己想象了。
假如北京没有霾，小孩子们会玩的更加畅快。因为雾霾，家长很少让孩子出去玩耍，成天闷在家里。没有了雾霾，他们会回到以前快乐玩耍的样子，小池旁，公园里，又能重现孩子们快乐的身影，响彻着孩子们天真，无忧无虑的.笑声。
假如北京没有霾，人们会更加健康。因为雾霾，现在很多人都患上了许多呼吸道疾病，更严重的甚至有肺癌。这么恶劣的天气，对人们的健康没有基本的保障。每天医院里都人满为患，老少的咳喘声也弄得人心惶惶。这样的生活真的是人们想要的吗？如果没有了雾霾，人们的身体健康就有了一层保障，不用受疾病的折磨，还给人们健康，幸福的生活。
假如北京没有霾，北京的景色会更加美好。雾霾像是给天空笼罩了一层隐晦的纱布。雾霾天气，各景区的游客也大大的减少了。我们看不清湖水另一岸的高山，望不穿那屹立着的雄伟的桥梁，领略不了迷人的风景。如果没有了雾霾，我们的景点又恢复到光线美丽的样子，游客络绎不绝，欣赏风花雪月，柳岸堤长。湖面上，传来人们划船时的动人的歌声和欢声笑语。那些花草也展露了自己的本色，蓬勃着生命的气息。
假如北京没有霾，我们的交通会更可靠。雾霾让司机的视线不清楚，加大了安全隐患，导致安全事故屡屡发生。没有了霾，司机驾驶更放心，减少事故的发生频率，给人们多一份安全保障。
假如北京没有霾，人们就不用花费大量金钱买防护用具。许多商家投机取巧，借着人们对雾霾的恐慌，把防雾霾口罩等一类东西的价格炒得极高。没有了霾，人们就没有必要再花这些钱，把省下来的钱积攒起来并捐赠，不知道能让多少山区的儿童读上书，让那些食不饱，穿不暖的人过上更好的日子。
如果北京没有霾，那该多好啊。希望这不仅是我个人的想象与憧憬，有朝一日，它会成为现实。
